Location. Thirty-two signs desiring enlightenment. Whatever is born within the lotus is said to be the lunar mandala. The brain within the crown of the head, wherever it is located, is said to be there. Within it is the form of Haṃ (Tibetan: ཧཾ།, Devanagari: हं, Romanized Sanskrit: haṃ, literal Chinese meaning: Ha), having the form of a bindu, indestructible. It is the root of all worlds, the nature of dependence, the lord of movement. From the form of clarity and non-clarity, the seed abides perfectly in form. The meaning of what is said should also be meditated upon. The precious Bu said that it is not appropriate to say that the contemplation of the dependent body mandala spoken of in the Saṃbuṭī Tantra and the contemplation of the dependent body mandala spoken of in the Explanatory Tantra Vajra Garland are optional. Because here, while there is the dependent body mandala spoken of in the Explanatory Tantra of one's own Guhyasamāja, there is no need to make an option from the dependent body mandala spoken of in the Father Tantra. Third, to explain in detail the method of meditating on these, there are two: examining the manner of whether there is a generation stage or not, and explaining the location and form, etc. First, in general, there are two schools of body mandala: one with a generation stage and one without it, where clarity is established merely by conditions. The first is the body mandala of the Father Tantra Guhyasamāja, where although there is no nature of channels and elements composed of Oṃ (Tibetan: ཨོཾ།, Devanagari: ओं, Romanized Sanskrit: oṃ, literal Chinese meaning: Oṃ) and so on in the crown of the head and so on, one newly generates the nature of the aggregates and so on as Oṃ (Tibetan: ཨོཾ།, Devanagari: ओं, Romanized Sanskrit: oṃ, literal Chinese meaning: Oṃ) and so on, and from that complete transformation, one establishes the clarity of deities such as Vairocana, or one meditates on the form of the letters themselves as the nature of the deity, as is said. In the Guhyasamāja Root Tantra, it is said that the body of the great wisdom being is blessed by the mantras of all the Tathāgatas. The commentary says that the mantra is Oṃ (Tibetan: ཨོཾ།, Devanagari: ओं, Romanized Sanskrit: oṃ, literal Chinese meaning: Oṃ) and so on, and that blessing is explained as arrangement. Also, in the concise ritual, it is said that the letter Oṃ (Tibetan: ཨོཾ།, Devanagari: ओं, Romanized Sanskrit: oṃ, literal Chinese meaning: Oṃ) of Vairocana, with the nature of the aggregates, is placed on the crown of the head by knowing the mantra. Therefore, since there is no difference between whether there is a generation stage or not in meditating on Vairocana after this and that Oṃ (Tibetan: ཨོཾ།, Devanagari: ओं, Romanized Sanskrit: oṃ, literal Chinese meaning: Oṃ) has completely transformed, it is a school that arises from the generation stage. Compared to the Mother Tantra, it is not profound. Second, although in this case, in the scriptures and commentaries, apart from establishing the clarity of the body mandala, nothing about the generation stage and conditions is mentioned, but Nāro.

In the oral instructions of Jetsun, it is said that one should manifest through the cause of sound and phoneme (sgra tshul) by "Mar" (dmar). Then, the lower wind propels with the (Tibetan: ཨཾ, Devanagari: अं, Romanized Sanskrit: aṃ, Literal meaning: ཨཾ) of the navel chakra, which is the phoneme. The wind of the back of the head propels with the (Tibetan: ཧཾ, Devanagari: हं, Romanized Sanskrit: haṃ, Literal meaning: ཧཾ) of the crown chakra, which is the sound. Thus, the two, sound and phoneme, mix in the heart center, and through this cause, the support and supported, including the outer Heruka, arise simultaneously with a "wal" sound and should be gradually manifested. It is said that after saying the sound and phoneme by "Mar" in this way, although it is said to arise from sound and phoneme, it is nothing more than a cause. If one thinks that even the outer sound and phoneme cannot be generated and are only spoken of as a cause, it may seem so if examined with coarse intellect. However, if analyzed with subtle wisdom, they are completely different. For the outer sound and phoneme, the support and supported arise simultaneously from the sound and phoneme themselves merging into one taste, so there is no other proximate cause. But here, the proximate cause is the gross body such as the soles of the feet, and the subtle elements such as Puja, the channels and elements, are naturally established in their respective places as the nature of support and supported. It is only because of the cause of the sound and phoneme in the heart that the appearance becomes clear in the mind. Similarly, generating Puja and others as deities of the body mandala is completely different from generating from outer seed syllables. This is because, although Puja and others are essentially deities, it is only that the very form that dwells in the shape of letters appears as the form of the deity. But in the outer practice, (Tibetan: ཨོཾ, Devanagari: ओ, Romanized Sanskrit: oṃ, Literal meaning: ཨོཾ) and others, which did not exist before, are newly generated, and from their dissolving into light, the form with the face and hands of the deity is established. Similarly, in the sadhana of the Black Ones, although neither generation nor cause is mentioned, the oral instruction of Naropa says that through the cause of the supreme deities of the mandala abiding in their own places, one should meditate on the form with the face and hands of the deity in that particular place of the body. The Vajra Bell practitioner says: "The rays of light radiate and accomplish beforehand, Urge and prostrate, dwell in one's own body, Soles of feet, confluence, belly, heart, Wind, fire, water, earth, are." And, in the small text of the Bell, it says: "From within the brow hair, dwell in one's own body, Upon the body, support and supported, Clearly manifest the wheels, closely focus." Due to the cause of the assembly field being absorbed.
