That is sixteen. Two arm bracelets, two hand bracelets, and two leg bracelets, making a total of six bracelets, namely "Pada" and "Tsoda," with two in the center. Three bone mainstays are spaced with strings of five beads each, and the lower part is adorned with many spear tips and bells. Among them, the arm bracelets are longer, the leg bracelets are shorter, and the hand bracelets are even shorter. The three mainstays of the belt, namely "Pada," "Tsoda," etc., are spaced with eight or sixteen layers of beads, adorned with net-like, half-net-like bells, and many bone spear tips, equal to the size of eight fingers, and adorned with five nets and eighteen half-nets. Among the three half-nets on the left and right, two reach the knees, and the middle one reaches the center of the buttocks. On these, small and exquisite bells should be hung. The bone thread is: holes are drilled in the eight-spoke bone wheel, connected crosswise, so that the wheel appears in front and back, and bound crosswise. This bone thread can be optional, using the hair of a murdered thief twisted into three strands, wrapped five or three times, and bound with three vajra knots in between. Like this deerskin, exposing the right hand, what is worn is the real Brahma thread. It is also possible to twist nine strands into one, and make vajra knots as before. The skull ornament should be made to the size of five fingers, in which, for men, the skull of a young woman is used, and for women, the skull of a man is used. On top of the tiger skin skirt, a belt made of the hair of a thief is wrapped twice, and then a bone ornament belt is tied on top of it. Some say that there are differences between male and female ornaments, but apart from the belt made with Abhyagra (Sanskrit, Abhyagra, meaning unknown) and the human head necklace, no other differences are seen. If made according to the size of the body, then men have large heads, and their limbs and other parts are thin, and their waists are thin, so the head ornament should be large, and other parts should be thin. Women have small heads, and their limbs and other parts are thick, so the head ornament should be small, and other parts should be large. These are the characteristics of the six ornaments. This is (what) the Supreme One (said).

Rinpoche said so. Regarding the manner of subduing fear and time with the feet, in both the root and commentary, it is only stated that the right foot is extended to subdue fear and time, and that the right is extended and the left is bent to subdue fear and time, but there is no clear explanation beyond that. Especially in the 'Manifestation Commentary,' according to this order, the right subdues fear and the left subdues time. Lord Atisha, in the 'Innate Sadhana,' stated the opposite, and there are many different statements. However, the venerable one acted according to the latter statement because the 'Vocabulary' says, 'Fear and time, desire and hatred are suppressed by the feet,' and 'With the thoughts of permanence and annihilation, fear and time are placed below.' This is done according to the meaning of what is said. Fear is permanence, the extreme of samsara, the nature of desire, subdued by the left foot, the nature of wisdom, and thus transforms into union. Time is annihilation, the extreme of nirvana, the nature of abandonment, subdued by the right foot, the nature of skillful means, and thus transforms into union. The venerable one said that fear is black, with four hands, the right holding a damaru and a curved knife, the left holding a khatvanga and a skull cup, and the time mother is red, holding a curved knife and a skull cup. To this, the scholar Bu said, 'Such hand symbols are not seen in the tantric commentaries, sadhanas, etc.' Although not seen, it is not that he did not think of it. This is the oral instruction of Phamthingpa. The way it becomes an oral instruction is that in the root tantra, from Heruka with four faces and four arms, to the four arms mentioned in the thousand arms, and the main deity of the Buddha skull, and the many main deities mentioned in Vajra Dakini, the hand symbols are said in that way. Here, the wisdom of the Buddhas is one, and when it manifests as the Great Lord to tame the disciples, his hand symbols are held as the hand symbols of the Bhagavan. Therefore, this is the time to assign the fewest hand symbols to the disciples, and the hand symbols of the time mother are also established in that way. Third, the purity of these is, Lavapa said, 'Whatever is said to be four faces, is said to be the nature of the four joys. Joy is complete enlightenment, because it is the nature of emptiness. Therefore, it is known as one face.'
