According to Jowo Bhadanta's Abhidhamma, one meditates on the form with face and hands, and Phamtangpa's view is that pride or faith is merely remembrance. Therefore, both traditions hold that both exist due to the difference in individuals' intelligence. Fourthly, Jetsun said that it is like burning the house of a low-caste person with fire, it is made as a special support for accumulating merit. Its meaning is that when a low-caste person serves the king, he first burns the house with fire. At that time, he bathes himself with the ritual originating from the Vedas, and if he serves, the king will be pleased, otherwise not. Similarly, here too, for the seventeen dharmas of skandhas, dhatus, and ayatanas, abandoning ordinary conceptualizations, one meditates on them as the essence of deities, therefore there is a special need to accumulate merit. One might think, is it not accomplished by just the initial joy of the body? It is true, but that much also exists in other unsurpassed generation stage yogas. But here, by separating the dharmas of skandhas, dhatus, and ayatanas one by one and meditating on them as deities, the support for accumulating merit is also established as more excellent than others. Jowo Bhadanta's view is that the term "self-protection" is used to protect against the obscuration of knowable objects. Here, knowable objects are the two selflessnesses, and the obscuration to them is attachment to the self of person and the self of phenomena. Among them, the self of person clings to the limbs, skandhas, dhatus, and ayatanas as ordinary, and believes that the whole with limbs is a single real entity. To abandon it, one meditates on the deity as the antidote to clinging to the ordinary, and one meditates on many deities as the antidote to clinging to the whole as one, thereby abandoning it. The self of phenomena clings to the object of ultimate truth as indivisible particles, and clings to the consciousness that grasps as indivisible moments as true. As its antidote, one visualizes the outer environment and inner beings as a palace, and by believing them to be deities, one visualizes them as appearing but without inherent existence, like illusions, thereby abandoning it. So it is believed. Thirdly, in connection with the actual accumulation of merit, accumulating merit through thirteen ways of accumulating merit, the scripture says: At this time, meditate on the protective wheel, then the accumulation of the two merits occurs in a related way, it is good to do so as well, Jetsun said. Phamtangpa's view is that when

Here, accumulate the accumulations of merit. Then, meditate on the protective wheel. As explained according to the oral instructions from the compilation of scriptures on accumulating the accumulations of wisdom, accumulating the accumulations of merit is as follows, according to the scriptures: Then, in one's own heart, from the letter A (藏文:ཨ,梵文天城體:अ,梵文羅馬擬音:a,漢語字面意思:阿) arises a lunar disc. On top of that, visualize the letter Hūṃ (藏文:ཧཱུྃ,梵文天城體:हुं,梵文羅馬擬音:hūṃ,漢語字面意思:吽) emitting various rays of light. With that light, visualize in front the perfectly complete Buddhas and gurus, and prostrate and make offerings. Then, take refuge in the Three Jewels. Thus, having invited the field of accumulation, only prostration, offerings, and taking refuge are mentioned. On this, from the oral instructions of Naropa, transmitted from Phamthingpa, thirteen accumulations are made: prostration, offerings, confession of sins, taking refuge, upholding vows and commitments, rejoicing, generating the supreme mind of enlightenment, urging the turning of the wheel of Dharma, requesting not to pass into nirvana, abiding on the path, dedicating the roots of virtue, requesting blessings, and requesting departure. First, for prostration, it is necessary to invite the object of prostration. Therefore, from the Hūṃ (藏文:ཧཱུྃ,梵文天城體:हुं,梵文羅馬擬音:hūṃ,漢語字面意思:吽) in my heart, light radiates, and in the sky in front, the root guru is in the form of Vajra Dharma, with a red body, holding a vajra in the right hand and a bell in the left, surrounded by the lineage gurus such as Vajrapani. The master Nāgārjuna is in the form of a renunciant, and all others hold a damaru in the right hand, a skull cup in the left hand, a khaṭvāṅga in the elbow, and are adorned with the five bone ornaments, in the form of yogis, invited in the upper part. In the lower part, invite the mandala of the sixty-two deities of Chakrasamvara. Here, based on what is said in the Crown Jewel, in the eastern charnel ground, in front of Indra, meditate on the guru seated on a lion throne, Marpa the translator and his retinue also assert this. However, the wise Bu considers this very unreasonable, because in the Compendium of Names it is said that the guru is a bodhisattva of the six vajra families, and Tsongkhapa also said: Vajradhara is the guru. This contradicts that, therefore it is very confused in the establishment of mantra.
