The earth deity came before him and bowed his head to the ground. When he made a gesture to make the flowers on the branches of the trees fall, the flowers were able to fall. The Guru said, "That is the action of discriminating consciousness that should be cut off. Now it is necessary to take hold with the action of wisdom, so release them." But he was unable to release them. Then the Guru said, "When engaging in conduct, the winds of discriminating consciousness and wisdom should be balanced, so that one can do both cutting off and taking hold. Since you are unable to take hold, it is not yet time for conduct." Having said this, that Guru released and sent away those animals. Thus, having become arrogant by engaging in conduct without the Guru's permission, the Guru said, "Do not go to the city of the goddess Vikota, the dakinis will create obstacles." Then, Krishna-pa and his retinue went to eastern Bangala and stayed by a river. A leper woman said, "Save me." He thought, "If I take this one, the leprosy will spread, and it will become an obstacle to accomplishing the siddhi in one lifetime," so he did not save her. One of the retinue, Kuculupa, saved her, and Kuculupa became Heruka, and the leper woman became a yogini, and they went to the sky-realm. Then, as they went further, they met a farmer plowing a field. That farmer had hidden liquor under the ground, and when he asked for it, he would not give it. Helpless, he saw a little water dripping from a crack in a rock, and said, "Drink this." The man said, "I am not satisfied by that. If you can drink enough, then drink, and I will satisfy you." Then the Guru drank, but the water did not decrease. Because he would not give the liquor, he made a threatening gesture at the ox, and the ox died. Then the farmer said, "You seem to be a Buddhist yogi, now you should take hold of it and revive it." But he was unable to revive it. Then the farmer himself revived the ox, and the Guru became ashamed. Again, as they went further, in a garden, there was a young boy. He picked a sour jambu fruit, which had a water source. He said, "If you boast that you are powerful, then take it down with your power." Then the Guru made a gesture to make the fruit fall, and the fruit began to fall down, and a shepherd

When he lifted it, it stuck again, and the teacher was embarrassed. Again, as he went on, in a temple, there was a person reciting the "Eight Thousand Verse Prajnaparamita Sutra." He asked, "Are you a Pandit, a Yogi, or a renunciate? In what capacity do you reside here?" The person replied, "I reside here in the guise of a Yogi." Then he asked, "So, you are a Yogi, do you recite 'Om'?" He said, "Then you recite it." Because he recited it but didn't understand, the teacher was defeated. After that, the teacher went to eastern Bengal, where the king was Shri Suchandra, and the minister was Kushalanatha, near the town. The king was a heretic, and the minister was a Buddhist. The minister heard that the teacher Karnapa had come to the town and went to greet him. The teacher said, "Why are you greeting me and showing me hospitality? What is your purpose?" He replied, "There is no other purpose. In a temple, there is a Lokeshvara statue similar to the Tirthikas, so I would like to request you to consecrate it." The teacher said, "That can be done, but I don't want to delay too long. I will do it today." He asked, "Then what preparations are needed for the consecration?" The teacher said, "Nothing is needed." Then he placed a flower on the crown of the statue and recited, "Tishta Vajra Ho Pratih" (藏文ཏིཥྛ་བཛྲ་ཧོ་པྲ་ཏིཿ,梵文तिष्ठ वज्र हो प्रतिः,罗马转写:tiṣṭha vajra ho pratiḥ,meaning: Abide Vajra, yes, indeed!), and said, "The consecration is complete." The minister did not believe it. Then the teacher took the flower from the crown of the statue and led the statue to where the teacher was going. Only then did the minister believe and said, "Now I believe, please put it back," and made a request. The teacher placed the flower on the crown of the statue again and recited, "Supratishtha Vajra" (藏文སུ་པྲ་ཏིཥྛ་བཛྲ་,梵文सुप्रतिष्ठ वज्र,罗马转写:supratiṣṭha vajra, meaning: Well-established Vajra), and the statue remained there. Many people tried to lift it inside, but they could not move it, so they built a temple there. In the place of the statue in the former temple, they built a stupa. After that, they requested the teacher to create a Buddhist cloth painting, and the teacher agreed. The teacher, the minister, and the painter kept it secret from others and painted an image of the king's deity, Vajrabhairava, and Kalachakra spread on a cushion. But the news leaked from one to another. The king heard it from another minister and said, "This minister is like my heart, it cannot be true." Although he said that, the rumors kept spreading, and the king became suspicious. A friend of the minister said, "Get rid of this Thangka, you yourself.
