The mother's focus is firm. While practicing the first stage of the five completion stages in a forest called Oṭibisha, southeast of Vajrasana (Bodh Gaya), the king of that place came to that dense forest for recreation and to learn hunting. The king saw a monk whose body was very emaciated, his body tormented by the sun and cold, without any means of sustenance, and compassion arose in him. He said, "I will offer you food, go to the city." At that time, the teacher was about to enter the fourth stage of Karmamudrā, and he foresaw with clairvoyance that this was the auspicious connection for accomplishing Karmamudrā, so he spoke these verses: Do not despise the wise who fully understand the nature of things! For they cannot be bound by wealth smaller than a blade of grass. Just as elephants cannot be bound by thin lotus threads, so are those who are addicted to the black edges of constantly flowing wine. After saying these words. At that time, the king was angry and thought, "He must be shamed." So he proclaimed, "Whoever can shame this monk in the middle of the city, I will reward him." At that time, there was a wine-selling woman who had a beautiful daughter of the lotus lineage, and she agreed, and the king provided all the necessary equipment. That daughter requested to serve the teacher's feet, and the teacher agreed. Making her a suitable vessel for empowerment and vows, he performed Karmamudrā until the completion of the fifth stage, practicing for twelve years. After that, in order to lead the inhabitants of Oṭibisha into the Vajrayana, to invoke the emanation of Great Compassion Avalokiteśvara, and to dispel those who distrusted him, the teacher wanted to go to the city, so he manifested a pair of emanation boys and girls. Then the king said to the wine-selling woman, "Bring the monk here." So he gathered all the people of the city at the gate and had them arrange the wine jars in order, and invited the teacher. The emanation boy ran from the right, the emanation girl ran from the left, the teacher put the horn cup to his mouth, the mistress held up the wine jar, poured it in order, and then entered the city.

At that time, the city dwellers, headed by the king, clapped and laughed, saying that the teacher himself had sung the words before, and that he would not come when the king invited him, but would come when the tavern maid called him. The teacher struck the ground with his horn, and the ground sank seven levels, and a great stream of water gushed out. He himself transformed into Heruka. The queen transformed into Vajravarahi. The emanation son became Vajra Girl, and the emanation daughter became a bell, and then ascended into the sky and departed. The king and others begged for forgiveness and prayed, and the teacher said, "Pray to the Great Compassionate One and you will receive blessings." Everyone prayed to "Lokésvara," and a self-arisen image of the Great Compassionate One appeared in the middle of the water, and the water circled the image seven times before sinking into the ground. That image of the Great Compassionate One is still famous today for its great blessings, and all the people of Oḍiviśa have been initiated into the Vajrayana. The one who was blessed and embraced by him was Turtle Foot, because his feet were as high as a turtle's, or because he walked slowly, or because he rode a turtle when he practiced, so he was called that. The one who was blessed and embraced by him was Śrī Jālandharipa, who attained the accomplishment of Mahamudra in the land of Jālandhara. The one who was blessed and embraced by him was the teacher Caryavajra, who was born in the southern kingdom of Karṇāṭa, so he was called Karṇapa. Also, Karṇa means ear, and because his ears were long, he was also called Karṇapa. Because his complexion was black, he was known as Kṛṣṇapa. This teacher, named Śrī Jālandharipa, was the one who attained the accomplishment of Cakrasamvara in the land of Jālandhara. Relying on his teachings to practice, he gained some abilities and was surrounded by many male and female yogis. He wanted to perform action yoga, so he asked the teacher, who said, "If you want to gain power in action yoga, do you have power?" He replied, "I have power." The teacher said, "Then show me." First, Kṛṣṇapa looked at the black deer (kṛṣṇa-sāri) with an attracting gaze, and the deer came before him. He looked at the tiger with a stiff gaze, and the tiger became stiff. He looked at the buffalo with a controlling gaze
