At the time of the main deity's transformation, it is said as if only this one is mentioned. It is also mentioned in the Lamp Illuminating [Sutra], so it seems to be a great tradition in India. In these three later commentaries, although there is no clear explanation of the transformation and non-transformation of the main deity who is not placed in the mandala, Marme Dze Zangpo also said, "Whatever is his central position is called his wheel. The Tathagata, the Lord of All, his position is the immovable place. The main deity is there for others, the self-master is only his own master. Having taken it out, first by the wise, it should be absorbed as in the ritual." From the meaning of this summary, and in Shantipa's commentary and the Victorious One's blessing commentary, the form of the Bodhisattva main deity's transformation is explained. The great lama, having observed the mandala with Manjushri as the main deity, thus it is established that the eight Bodhisattvas' main deities can be transformed, and from this it is also established that the other six wrathful deities' main deities can also be transformed. So, what is the scriptural authority from the tantra that demonstrates the transformation of the main deity? In the fourth chapter of the Root Tantra, the method of drawing the mind mandala, and in the sixteenth chapter, after clearly explaining the method of transforming the main deity of the body mandala and the speech mandala, "Whichever is the supreme Vajra Holder, his form is well drawn in the center, that becomes his mandala position. It arises from the secret of body, speech, and mind." This very statement demonstrates the method of transforming the main deities of the remaining two Tathagatas and the other mandala assemblies, and the two great traditions seem to be in agreement. In this supreme system as well, even though the eight Bodhisattvas and the other six wrathful deities are not placed in the mandala, it is considered that the main deity can be transformed. Therefore, both the Indian tradition and the Yeshe Zhap tradition consider that there are thirty-two mandalas of the main deity's transformation in this very tantra. As Shantipa said, if the methods of transforming the main deities of other tantra classes are combined, it should be known to be countless. The seventh is from the Kunsang Gyepa, "Thus, after fully observing the complete mandala, light radiates from the seed syllable (Tibetan: མཾ།, Sanskrit Devanagari: मं, Sanskrit Romanization: maṃ, Chinese literal meaning: Mang) in the heart of the wisdom being, touching Yamari, who utters (Tibetan: ཛཿ, Sanskrit Devanagari: जः, Sanskrit Romanization: jaḥ, Chinese literal meaning: Zha), and from the seed syllable in his heart, Yamari emanates, the retinue of the mandala.

Having summoned the sky of seven years, it is placed within the wheel of protection. Then, the nectar is blessed, and the three waters are blessed. Offering the three waters with the mantra of the main deity, and sprinkling the five accomplished nectars. After that, light radiates from the མཾ་(Tibetan, Devanagari: मं, Romanized Sanskrit: maṃ, Literal Chinese meaning: Mang) syllable at the heart center, touching the other three wrathful deities. They recite ཧཱུྃ་བཾ་ཧོཿ(Tibetan, Devanagari: हुं वं होः, Romanized Sanskrit: hūṃ vaṃ hoḥ, Literal Chinese meaning: Hum Vam Hoh) in sequence, which is said to represent merging the wisdom wheel into the commitment wheel, binding, and pleasing them. Just as this, in the treasure of the arising of accomplishments, it is also said: Thus, with all things, Having seen the complete mandala, With the seed syllable, light, and iron hook, Summon the Yama's slayer, the inspiring wheel. The obstacles that come along with it, Having expelled and protected, the wrathful ones dissolve. The wheel that increases with bliss, Visualize in front and make offerings. With conch water, purify and scatter, Cover with kusha grass, water lightly touches. With offering vessels, make offerings, Distinguishing with edges, etc., cool the feet. Likewise, inspiring other wrathful deities, With light, introduce, Binding and subsequently generating joy, Bless into the Dharmadhatu. So it is said. In other sadhanas, with the light of the seed syllable at the heart of the wisdom being, the wheel of the mandala is invited and offered to. Again, manifesting four wrathful deities, it is said to summon, introduce, bind, and control. The offering is said in the Four Hundred and Fifty Verses: With moon and other flowers endowed, The supreme secret mantra recited, offer flowers. And, Ratna Vajra says: For the offering endowed with moon and other flowers, recite Om Ah Hum and offer. Sonam says: With a vessel filled with nectar, offer, and after truly offering the Form Vajra Mother and others arising from the light of the essence. Jowo Je says: Offer with one's own mantra, the Form Vajra Mother and others well manifested, after truly offering. Etc., although the categories appear slightly different, the first two treatises do not mention anything beyond the three waters, and in the Kunzang Collected also only: The offering of reciting one's own essence, adorn and offer with sandalwood and other flowers. That's all.
