In the center of the multi-storied building, the mind abiding in the three syllables descends, and so forth, transforming into two moons, which become one, which becomes a letter, which becomes a letter with characteristics, which becomes the prideful activity of gathering and dispersing, and the generation of the body arising from what is similar to oneself is the first. Thus it is said. In the scriptures of alms gathering, although there was previously the placing of three syllables in the sky, here the arrangement of descending into the center of the palace is not apparent. In other scriptures, there was also no previous placing of three syllables, so the three syllables descending into the center of the palace, and the moon becoming complete, and the generation of the vajra from Hūṃ (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ།, Sanskrit Devanagari: हुं, Sanskrit Romanization: hūṃ, Chinese literal meaning: 吽) appear as the distinctive features of these three scriptures. In the Four Hundred Fifty Verses: Vowel letters are endowed with signs and truth, Ka and so forth, with radiant marks and examples, On the seat of the central moon is the mind, There meditate on the wisdom moons and so forth. From the heart of the first arises the vajra, Red and endowed with the essence of the first. It is said that apart from the descent of the three syllables, the others appear to be the same as before, and it seems that it is just as possible to add a seed syllable to either meditating from the complete transformation of the vajra moon or meditating on the moon. In the Kunzang Düpa: From the sixteen parts and the assembly arises, The moon mandala is indeed in the center. And in its commentary, Thagam Pa says: The sixteen parts are A and so forth, and the assembly is Ka and so forth, but nothing else appears, but below are added the thirty-two marks and the eighty minor marks, so the meaning is the same as before. In the method of accomplishment of the Lord of the World, it is also explained in this way. From that very moon mandala, contemplate the red letter Hūṃ (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ།, Sanskrit Devanagari: हुं, Sanskrit Romanization: hūṃ, Chinese literal meaning: 吽), which appears to be meditating on the vajra from Hūṃ (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ།, Sanskrit Devanagari: हुं, Sanskrit Romanization: hūṃ, Chinese literal meaning: 吽) on the moon, because below it says that from then on, the moon, the vajra, and the complete transformation of the letter Hūṃ (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ།, Sanskrit Devanagari: हुं, Sanskrit Romanization: hūṃ, Chinese literal meaning: 吽) precede, and one's own nature is the body of Vajrasattva. In Shantipa's root tantra commentary, Nyimé Metok: From then on, from the moon mandala abiding in the center, the seeds of the qualities of the Buddhas, the sixteen white vowel letters completely transform, and the moon mandala expands, which is the nature of mirror-like wisdom. In its center, it is clear.

There are thirty-four white letters that are the agents. The letter HŪṂ (ཧཱུྃ,梵文:hūṃ,梵文羅馬擬音:hum, seed syllable) of all the qualities of the Buddha, transformed from white, the primordial vajra as red as a ruby, is the nature of the wisdom of equality. At its center is the letter HŪṂ (ཧཱུྃ,梵文:hūṃ,梵文羅馬擬音:hum, seed syllable) itself, because it is the very constant abiding in equality. It is the nature of the wisdom of individual self-awareness. With its rays, it inspires all the mandalas, and having gathered them, contemplate it as the nature of the wisdom of diligently accomplishing activities, transformed from the moon, vajra, and mantra, is the nature of the wisdom of the utterly pure realm of phenomena, called the Bhagavan Primordial Being. Although this seems to follow the tradition of Yeshe Zhap, it seems inconsistent with any of the previous texts. In the Sadhana of the Precious Vajra Akshobhya, it seems similar to generate the first moon from two rows of vowels (Āli) on the central cushion. On top of that, dividing the thirty-two clarifying points that omit "Ha" and "Ksha" into two rows, in the center of the sixty-four points, placing a row of sixteen vowels (Āli), transforming into the essence of the eighty minor marks, contemplate the second moon. On top of the two moons becoming one, the vajra arising from HŪṂ (ཧཱུྃ,梵文:hūṃ,梵文羅馬擬音:hum, seed syllable), marked with HŪṂ (ཧཱུྃ,梵文:hūṃ,梵文羅馬擬音:hum, seed syllable), through radiating and gathering, contemplate Samantabhadra. The almsgiver believes that from the nature of the sixteen emptinesses, that is, the sixteen vowels (Āli), the first moon marked with vowels (Āli) arises; on top of that, from the nature of the thirty-two marks, that is, the thirty-two consonants (Kāli), the second moon marked with consonants (Kāli) arises; on top of that, the vajra arising from HŪṂ (ཧཱུྃ,梵文:hūṃ,梵文羅馬擬音:hum, seed syllable) etc. is the same as before, but these two also seem inconsistent with the previous texts. Regarding the body color and hand gestures of the root Vajradhara, there seems to be no disagreement between texts and commentaries. Regarding the posture, Shantipa says "sucking the mother's lip," while Gilupa and Precious Vajra say "biting the mother's lip with teeth." Regarding terminology, most texts say "Samantabhadra," while Gilupa says "Primordial Protector," and considers this to be the same meaning as the Great Wisdom Being mentioned in the root tantra. Shantipa says "Primordial Being," and the almsgiver uses the term "Vajrasattva."
