It is only acknowledged for the purpose of practicing what is to be practiced. That is unreasonable, because it is generally not taught in any tantric scripture that practicing what is to be practiced is for the purpose of preventing future potential. In particular, it is not taught in any of the excellent Guhyasamaja Dharma cycles, and it is also not in the meaning, because preventing the future potential of what is to be abandoned by practicing the path also exists in the Paramitayana and the practice of the lower three tantras, and practicing what is to be practiced is a characteristic of Mahayoga. Eighth, if it is said that practicing what is to be practiced must be done by blocking the potential of the future cause of what is to be practiced, because the King of Reasoning says: In order to destroy the fault of the desire to be born, whatever prevents faults, that which transforms the potential into the work of birth, how does what has been done decay? So it is said. Then, if it is the path to purify the future birth, death, and intermediate state, then it must be contrary to that. Because the King of Reasoning says: Loving-kindness and so on are not contrary to delusion, so they do not completely cut off evil. If you admit it, then the Dharmakaya and the other three bodies of the path are the same. Therefore, all three are admitted. Furthermore, if it is the path to purify the future birth, death, and intermediate state, then it must refute the object of attachment of these three. Because the King of Reasoning says: If there is no refutation of this object, then it is not possible to abandon it. If you admit it, then it is as before. Ninth, the टीका says: Generally, the view of the noble father and sons is that the uncommon result to be achieved in one lifetime by the mantra practitioners of the degenerate age is the attainment of the three bodies, just like the three dharmas abiding on the ground. Therefore, by meditating on the three paths similar to these three, in the end, when ordinary people die, the yogi will manifest the Dharmakaya, realizing the ultimate truth; when ordinary people appear in the intermediate state, the yogi will appear in the Sambhogakaya; when ordinary people appear in birth, the yogi will appear in the Nirmanakaya. This is different from the three bodies taught in other scriptures, and this is its own most excellent characteristic. Thus,

If there is a lack of skillful means, it will lead to the three states of birth, death, and bardo in samsara. Through the power of skillful means, these three states are transformed into the three kayas. For example, the sambhogakaya and others replace the bardo and other states, as stated in the Compendium of Practices. Therefore, the key to accomplishing the three kayas that are similar to the three states of birth, death, and bardo of the basis is that on the path, the stages that correspond to these three are also shown, corresponding to each vessel and essence world. It is said that to replace these, one should practice such a path. For example, just as one would paint many meaningless images on a canvas and then say, "To replace these, paint this Buddha image," similarly, for these vessels and essences that appear in samsara, let the mandala and the three kayas replace them. It is said that this is written down. This is the ultimate purpose of the basis of practice and the method of practice in this school. Refuting these views in order: If the dharmakaya state, which is called "the three kayas that are similar to the three dharmas that exist in the basis," is placed in the clear light between the illusory body and union, then it is extremely unreasonable. Because the clear light in between is the stage of the path of learning, while the former is the stage of the three kayas of the result. If it is not placed in the clear light between the two, then it is contradictory to consider the sambhogakaya, which is called "the state of the three kayas," as the sambhogakaya formed only from the wind-mind that arises in reverse from the clear light. It seems true that this is different from the three kayas explained in other texts. Because in any Mahayana text, apart from accomplishing the three kayas simultaneously, there is no explanation of the order of accomplishing the three kayas like this. It is not true that this is its most excellent characteristic. Although it is true that the clear light, which is one of the five stages, and the dharmakaya at the time of the result are the same in meaning, it has already been denied that the two are the same in meaning. It is also unreasonable to say that if there is a lack of skillful means, it will lead to the three states of birth, death, and bardo, and that through the power of skillful means, they are transformed into the three kayas, as stated in the Compendium of Practices. Because the quote from the Compendium of Practices that you yourself cited is like this.
