Ga (ག་, Ka) etc. are like rainbows. Thus it is said. If this instruction is practiced from the very beginning, it will become the cause for the rapid arising of samadhi. For some individuals, even if they exert great effort in practice, they may not be able to rise from the conceptual thoughts of mental isolation. If they practice it later in the manner of giving alms, they will be able to arise from the bliss-emptiness samadhi of complete mental isolation into the form of Vajradhara. Therefore, it appears to be an extremely profound instruction. Seventh, the signs and benefits of completion are: In dreams, boys and girls, etc., make offerings, seeing the Buddha's pure lands, the Buddhas bestow empowerments, the empowerment symbols of vajra and bell, and the scriptures of the Guhyasamaja are given into one's hands. Upon awakening, scriptures and vajra bells, etc., appear in one's hands, which are signs of accomplishment. Realizing the clear light ultimate truth is the benefit. Fourth, the Clear Light: Thus, relying on the practice of the union of emptiness and illusion of objects, the proximate cause of the Sambhogakaya, there are seven aspects to the way of practicing the emptiness of mind, the clear light ultimate truth. First, the individual is: having perfected the conventional truth, one desires the samadhi of clear light in which all is empty. Second, the essence is: it is the samadhi distinguished by the cessation of all appearances of phenomena. Third, the object to be known is: the ultimate state where all phenomena are empty, and the clear light is like the empty, cloudless sky. Fourth, what is to be abandoned is: the conceptual thought of grasping that illusory body itself as real and having characteristics. As it says in the Vajra Garland: "Other than my great blessing, there are no other jewels here. Like a gem refined by fire, its nature is clear light, completely pure." Thus it is said. If the conceptual thought of grasping that illusory body as real and having characteristics, is it clinging to a single thing that is truly and genuinely verifiable? Or is it clinging to something false, merely an illusion? If one thinks it is the latter, then one should not cling to it as real, because one is practicing the illusory body. If one clings to it as merely an illusion, then it is not inverted, because one recognizes illusion as illusion. If one thinks in this way, then all these clingings, however one clings to them, will become correct clingings, because it is real.

Because of imposing inherent existence on what is empty of inherent existence. For example, the very wisdom of ordinary beings realizing impermanence, although it is the antidote to clinging to permanence, is like a subtle clinging. Fifth, the stages of realizing the antidote of manifest enlightenment are external manifest enlightenment and internal manifest enlightenment. The first is: at the twilight of dawn, after the appearance of ignorance has passed, until the sun has not yet become clear. At this time, the light is clear and immaculate, and all that is separated from body, speech, and mind is characterized by emptiness. The rising of the sun is the increase of appearance, the setting of the sun is the time of entering ignorance. The rising of the moon is appearance. Internal manifest enlightenment is: first, like a mirage, one sees a collection of five rays of light. Second is appearance, like the rays of the moon. Third is the increase of appearance, like the rays of the sun. Fourth is the attainment of appearance, like darkness. Then, in the moment of separation from darkness, there is clear light, which is characterized by being very clear and constantly appearing. As it is said, the ultimate truth is seen with the eye of wisdom. Among them, the examples of night, darkness, and sunrise are symbolized from the four different aspects of a sudden separation from conceptual thought by an ordinary person. The two meditations of internal manifest enlightenment are explained from the perspective of experiencing the illusion of entering clear light. There are two methods for realizing it: the meditation of complete retention and the meditation of subsequent dissolution. The first is: in a secluded place, with the body upright, from the samadhi of mental seclusion, arise as an illusory deity. After becoming accustomed to this for a long time, in order to abandon the conceptual thoughts of one's own body, speech, and mind, one meditates on the complete retention of the three vajras. First, one contemplates the nature of all three realms, merely wind and consciousness, as the great Vajradhara, like an illusion. Then, one transforms it into the body Vajra Vairochana. One gathers it into the (Tibetan: ཨོཾ, Sanskrit Devanagari: ओ, Sanskrit Romanization: oṃ, Literal Chinese Meaning: om) at the heart. Then, one gathers the (Tibetan: ཨོཾ, Sanskrit Devanagari: ओ, Sanskrit Romanization: oṃ, Literal Chinese Meaning: om) completely into the short (Tibetan: ཨ, Sanskrit Devanagari: अ, Sanskrit Romanization: a, Literal Chinese Meaning: A). Then, one contemplates it becoming finer and finer, until it is ultimately invisible. This is the complete retention of the body. Similarly, through the stages of meditating on speech Vajra and mind Vajra, one can also abandon the conceptual thoughts of speech and mind of the three realms.
