Tāgatāya is Thus Gone One. Arahatē is Foe Destroyer. Saṃmyaksaṃbuddha is Perfectly Complete Buddha. Nāma is called. Kalpa is considered. The second, the explanation of the name is: The venerable one understands the suchness of all dharmas as they are, and is able to show it to others as such, therefore is Bodhicitta, and the four, giving, wisdom, and diligence, are the Tathāgata, Arhat, Perfectly Complete Buddha. Therefore, in general, the gods of the desire realm, and in particular, the gods of the thirty-three realms (Trayastriṃśa), take seeing the face of the Tathāgata as the basis for learning. Take refuge in the Three Jewels. Because there is no turning back, all the evil destinies included by cause and effect are completely purified. Because the light of the white hair between the eyebrows completely overwhelms all evil destinies, it is the King of Glory. Consideration is a detailed ritual, which is what (some people) think. In the Commentary on the Syllables, it says: The Tathāgata is mirror-like wisdom, which is the Dharmakāya. The Arhat is the wisdom of equality. The Perfectly Complete One is the wisdom of individual discrimination, these two are the Sambhogakāya. The Buddha is the wisdom of accomplishing activities, which is the Nirmāṇakāya. The activity of these three bodies is: Because of bad causes, influenced by karma and afflictions, the result is falling into the three realms, therefore it is an evil destiny, which completely purifies all saṃsāra. How is it purified? Because the cause, which is samādhi, purifies karma and afflictions; the result, which is light, purifies suffering, therefore it is glory. The king and consideration are said to be the same as before. Homage to glorious Vajrasattva! This is the offering praise composed by the translator. Therefore, since the meaning of the name summarizes everything that will be explained below, sharp-minded people can also rely on the meaning of the name to briefly understand what is to be expressed. The second part is divided into four aspects: the beginning, the initiation, the actual text of the tantra, and the rejoicing. The first part is divided into six aspects: the Dharma, the compiler, the time, the teacher, the perfect place, and the greatness of the retinue and the teacher's presence. The first is: The words and meanings of the tantra that will appear below are "thus," meaning there is no addition, subtraction, or distortion. The second is: Holding the Vajra.

Oh, I heard it directly from Buddha Shakyamuni, not transmitted from others. I heard it because my ear faculty was without defect, not because the meaning became manifest through meditation. The third is "at one time," which refers to the time of the teacher's conduct, the time of perfect abiding, the time of entering into absorption, and the time of teaching the Dharma. "One time" refers to hearing it at the time of teaching the Dharma. Moreover, being able to speak in a single instant of the end of time is the greatness of the teacher who expounds. At that time, Vajrapani understood it, which is the greatness of the retinue of compilers. Because "at one time this was heard, and at other times other things were also heard," the compiler heard a great deal. Because "at one time this Dharma arises, and at other times it does not arise," the greatness of the Dharma to be taught is shown. These show the four greatnesses. These are common with the Paramita Vehicle, and are spoken from the point of view of the teacher and retinue being different, but in reality, all five perfections are produced from the manifestation of the teacher's own wisdom, and there is not the slightest difference in lineage. The fourth is "Bhagavan," because he has conquered the four maras and possesses the six qualities of power, he is called Bhagavan. As it says in the Vajrasekhara Sutra: "Afflictions, karma, and likewise birth, afflictions, the obscuration of knowledge as well, whatever are the dharmas contrary to them, because he has conquered them, he is called Bhagavan." Also, as it says in the Sambhuti Sutra: "That is to say, possessing splendor and perfection, fame, wisdom, power, beauty, and perfect diligence, he possesses a share of the six qualities." If someone thinks that the explanation of the meaning of Bhagavan as "conquering the four and possessing the six" is wrong, and that it contradicts the separate explanations of the meanings of "conquering" and "possessing," that is a negation of the separate explanations of the meanings of "conquering" and "possessing," because the word "Bhagavan" itself includes both "conquering" and "possessing." Therefore, because he has conquered the four maras, he is called Bhagavan, and because he possesses the six qualities of power, he is called Bhagavan. This is not a negation of the meaning of the word, so there is no fault. The fifth is the place, which is divided into the essence of the place and the distinctions of the place. First, because it possesses miraculous powers and has its own light, it is a deva. Because it possesses the bliss of meditation, it is supreme, that is, the Thirty-Three.
