As it appears below, practice the deity, offer as much as possible, give Torma, and then accept the disciple who will be taught, and stay comfortably. The next day, invite the mandala deities who have been invited to descend, and then begin to draw the mandala. Second, the square is purified by the four immeasurables, the four doors are purified by the four liberations, and the four stables are possessed by the four dhyanas. The four gatehouses have four rows of steps, and the pillars of the stables are decorated with lions and elephants. The surroundings are decorated with five-colored silk banners, necklaces, and half-necklaces, as well as bells and drums. On the lotus of the door, the east is decorated with the vajra (རྡོ་རྗེ།, vajra, diamond), the south with the jewel (རིན་ཆེན།, ratna, jewel), the west with the lotus (པདྨ།, padma, lotus), and the north with the crossed vajra (རྒྱ་གྲམ་པ།, viśvavajra, crossed vajra). Having eight threads means that Jetsun said that there are eight large sections on the left and right of the Brahma line. Tsakya Pa explains that the central grid is taken as the pervasive grid, with a total of eight grids. Nyenton explains it as eight large lines. Decorating with outer door frames means that all the decorations such as door frames and stables are completed. Dividing into nine parts means that Khaupa usually divides the center of the wheel into nine parts, with three parts in each direction, like the main position of one-third, and explains that the door and door frame are equal. Jetsun also explains it this way. Nyalpa says that the outer surroundings are divided into one large section and eighteen small sections, and the so-called one-third of the door and door frame means dividing into nine parts, one large section. This statement is wrong, because the surroundings are needed everywhere, but do not belong to the scope of the lines, so it is not one-ninth, and it is not appropriate to violate the words of the Sugata by changing one-third to nine parts. The vajra thread means that the thread is integrated into the realm of the five wisdoms, and then the lines are drawn. Drawing the lines of the central circular mandala inside the square, like the Dharma wheel, the spokes are made round, with a hub, the number of spokes is sixteen, and it is surrounded by a circle. The color of the spokes is not explicitly stated here, but the masters consider it to be blue. Tsakya Pa considers

It is said that it is blue because it symbolizes the teachings of "Va." However, Kunga Nyingpo (Kun·Gonga Nyingpo, 1042-1132) said that all sixteen bodhisattvas are manifestations of Vajrasattva's mind, so blue is obviously to symbolize this. I think this is the same meaning as the heart wheel of the Chakrasamvara deity being blue. Some people presumptuously say that because this is the time to carry out pacifying activities, it should be white, but this has been prevented from being used for increasing and subduing. Therefore, the positions of the main deity, the Purifier of All Evil Destinies, and the sixteen bodhisattvas, all three levels are present. The spokes should be doubled, and Jetsun thinks that if a large Thangka is placed, it will be two times smaller, and if it is not placed, it will be two times larger. Fourth is inviting the deity, in the middle direction of the nine sections, the color of Sarvavid is white like conch, white lotus, and moon. In the causal stage, he practiced and perfected the four: Bodhicitta, generosity, wisdom, and diligence, according to the "Seed Syllable Explanation," he has four faces. Regarding the hand gestures, he holds a vajra, and Tsakyapa (Rtsa skya pa) explains that he sits on a lion throne in the vajra posture, but there is no verb here, so it obviously refers to sitting on a lion throne marked with a vajra. Both hands hold the meditation mudra. Since "and" is a connecting word, Tsakyapa believes that the neck is slightly bent, the eyes look down, and the tongue touches the palate. All the ornaments such as the head ornament should be painted solemnly. In front of him, that is, in the east, the King Who Purifies All Evil Destinies should be painted, who is the same as Sarvavid except for the cushion and face. Jetsun believes that the Supreme Prince is the second name of the Purifier of All Evil Destinies, and Tsakyapa believes that it should be adorned with marks and signs. Behind Sarvavid, that is, in the west, the main deity of the Shakya clan, the yellow Thubpa with the attire of a Chakravartin, holding the teaching mudra, should be painted. On the right side of Sarvavid, that is, in the south, the Supreme Jewel, blue, holding the bestowing mudra and the meditation mudra, should be painted; on the left side, that is, in the north, the blooming lotus, green, holding the protection mudra and the meditation mudra, should be painted.
