The second part is divided into two points: the main text and refuting contradictions with the scriptures. The first part is the four verses beginning with "Supreme Bodhi," seeing the five families of Buddhas each making the supreme Bodhi mudra, earth-touching mudra, supreme giving mudra, meditation mudra, and protection-giving mudra, all of which are yellow in color, and considering it to be a Sutra tradition view. Some Kadampa people say this, while others say it was the direct vision of Jowo Je (Atisha). This is unreasonable because the Sutras do not speak of such five families of Buddhas, and it is not the view of the four Tantra classes of Secret Mantra. It is also not the view of the Kriya and Charya Tantras, because they only summarize them into three families: Buddha family, Vajra family, and Padma family, and do not summarize them into five families. Nor is it the view of the Yoga Tantra, because the five families of Buddhas spoken of in the Compendium and others have different colors, such as white and black, and the mudras are also different, such as the supreme Bodhi mudra. The five families of Buddhas in this view of the Yoga Tantra have different body colors and different mudras because they are the bodies of dependent arising that symbolize the five wisdoms, so it is reasonable for them to be different, but being all yellow cannot symbolize these. Nor is it the view of the Anuttara Tantra, because the colors of the five families of Buddhas spoken of in the Kalachakra and others are different from those of the Yoga Tantra, Akshobhya is green, Amoghasiddhi is black, Ratnasambhava is red, Amitabha is white, and Vairochana is yellow, which are, in order, the bodies of dependent arising for purifying the five elements of earth, water, fire, wind, and space, and being all yellow cannot purify these. The second part is the five sentences beginning with "Buddha's golden color," if it is unreasonable for the five families of Buddhas to be all yellow, then how to explain the saying in the Buddhist scriptures, "Buddha's body is golden, the skin is thin"? This is because the golden color is spoken of as a metaphor for being without defilement and pure, or it is spoken of with regard to most Nirmanakaya Buddhas, otherwise not everything is necessarily yellow, because the scriptures say that the color of Medicine Buddha is the blue of the sky. If the Suvarnaprabhasa Sutra says, "All Buddhas have the same color, this is the Dharma-nature of the Buddha,"
