It is so. Also, in the Sambhuta Sutra, it says: "In other places, in hundreds of thousands of kalpas, what cannot be obtained by the countless, in what place, with the supreme bliss, you can achieve in this life." Also, in the Guhyasamaja Tantra, it says: "With this, one can achieve the great Dharma nature, born from the indivisibility of the three bodies, adorned with the ocean of wisdom, one can achieve in this very life." Also, in the Jnana Tilaka, it says: "Or immediately after abandoning this body, one can achieve even without diligence." Also, in the Secret Treasury, it says: "If the empowerment is endowed with true generosity, one will receive empowerment in life after life, and thereby in seven lives, one will attain accomplishment even without practice." Also, in the Vajra Sekhara, it says: "What cannot be obtained in countless kalpas by the arising of the Paramitas, if that yogi is diligent, he can pass into nirvana in this very life. Or even by merely seeing, one can achieve purification in sixteen lives, and even an ordinary being can become a Buddha, but not elsewhere." Also, in the Fifth Stage, it says: "If there is no downfall, one can achieve in sixteen lives." Thus it is said. Third, the verse "Whoever is extremely..." means that if one is not possessed by the thought of definitely departing from samsara, even if one takes the vows of a novice monk, one will not become a Pratimoksha, like the biographies of Ananda's two nephews and Nanda's brother Sundarananda. Fourth, the verse "Generating the mind..." means that without distinguishing the systems taught by Uma and Citta, confusing the minds of those with little learning, and for the sake of pleasing fools, it is forbidden to create one's own rituals. Fifth, there are two: brief explanation and detailed explanation. The first is the verse "Secret mantra..." The second has four: prohibiting empowerments unrelated to the tantras, prohibiting the generation stage without purifying what is to be purified, prohibiting the completion stage without knowing dependent origination, and prohibiting the wisdom that does not distinguish what is to be abandoned. The first is the verse "If..." means that those who give empowerments also abandon the meaning of the tantras, all the excellent treatises spoken by the accomplished ones, and respectfully take up self-made rituals defiled by falsehood. The second is the verse "Hundred..."

Even the practice of the generation stage is merely abandoning all the elements of the ritual that serve to purify what is to be purified, such as the fivefold manifestation of enlightenment, the generation of the three vajra rituals, the interdependence of phonetics, the three samādhis, the four yogas, and so on, and simply naming the practice of self-made, vulgar generation as the generation stage. This is not to say that from the very beginning, practitioners are prohibited from practicing other generation stages and instead practice vulgar generation. Rather, it is not that one believes that there is absolutely no vulgar generation in the generation stage, because the generation stage at the time of attaining stability is entirely vulgar generation. Third, it is one verse, "Fierce Mother," etc. Most Tibetan Fierce Mother practices also involve the entire body being pervaded by the channels, which are then pervaded by bodhicitta, which are then pervaded by wind, which are then pervaded by consciousness, which are then pervaded by the dharmadhātu and abide. Initially, after gaining mastery over the wind, one ignites the fire of Fierce Mother, melting the dependent bodhicitta, but without understanding the inner interdependence by which the dependent clarity and emptiness become manifest as inseparable, one merely feels a little warmth in the body and thinks that it is enough to wear only a cotton cloth. However, such a thing also exists in other traditions, so it is not the cause of generating true wisdom. Fourth, it is one verse, "Wisdom," etc. Even if one practices the two stages and generates a little self-born wisdom, due to the interdependence of the inner channels and elements, without the key instructions like those of the Path and Fruit for separately generating the four: self-born afflictions, self-born conceptual thoughts, self-born distraction, and self-born non-conceptuality, it will not become the path to perfect Buddhahood. Sixth, there are three points: It explains that a true guru will not arise without empowerment; it explains that a non-true guru cannot bestow Buddhahood; it explains the difference between sutra and tantra gurus. The first is two verses, "Guru," etc. A guru who, without empowerment, merely shows the Fierce Mother visualization that generates warmth is not a true guru, because he has not become one who possesses the vows of secret mantra through the gateway of empowerment. For example, just as there is no basis for applying the term "abbot" without having taken novice vows, without empowerment, there will be no basis for applying the term "true guru." Merely the name of guru, without
