Since there is no past, if one respects the essence of the Buddha's teachings, the view of non-elaboration, then one should not cling to any of the four extremes. Nowadays, until one arrives at a single extreme clinging view, those Tibetans who do not know how to establish the Madhyamaka view, regarding the aforementioned scriptural citations, and others such as, "The Buddhas said that emptiness is to abandon all views; whoever has a view of emptiness, that is said to be unattainable," and the saying in the Ratnakuta Sutra, "'Exists' is one extreme; 'does not exist' is the second extreme," and the saying in the Essence of Wisdom, Collected from All, "Neither exists nor does not exist, nor both exist and do not exist; not the nature of both; the Madhyamika who is liberated from the four extremes, that alone is the truth of the wise," and the saying in the Bodhicharyavatara, "The ultimate is not the object of the mind; the mind is said to be conventional," etc., the meaning of these great Madhyamaka treatises that explain the view of non-elaboration, because they are not understood, speaking about the unspeakable, elaborating on the non-elaborate, and clinging to the non-erroneous as erroneous, so they should be abandoned far away like a poisonous flower. Therefore, regarding the non-elaboration that should be taught, although there is no difference in different kinds, in order to suit the minds of the disciples, how to show the order of the four philosophical schools, and how to combine it with the ultimate view of non-elaboration, what the great Vajradhara of the degenerate age, Drakpa Gyaltsen, said in the Precious Tree of Manifest Realization, should be listened to in the presence of a qualified lama. Establishing that the Dharmadhatu is not existent by reasoning, that is, "by reasoning also," etc. Third, there are also six sentences such as "also other existent," such as the sentence "all the virtues of beings," if virtue is the Dharmadhatu, then there is no need to specifically point out "all the virtues of beings," because the Dharmadhatu of sentient beings and noble ones should also be dedicated. The third part has three points: explaining the meaning of the scriptures without inversion; establishing it by way of example; establishing it by way of scriptural citation. The first point is: therefore, the thirteen sentences of that treatise, etc., are divided into three types: combining the general and the specific, combining self and other, and combining the brief and the detailed, which is easy to understand.

Second, for example, "walking" etc., are nine. This refers to the fact that both the merit to be dedicated and the sins to be confessed both require effort by individuals to accomplish, and it is said to show this. However, it is not that the way to confess is like this, because a pure confession requires the vow not to commit sins in the future. Third, such as "Vajra" etc., are two. In the dedication ritual of the Vajra Banner, it says: "In the ten directions of the world, all the virtues, by accomplishing them correctly, for the benefit and happiness of all beings, dedicate them to all wise ones." Thus it is said. Second, refuting with reasoning established by direct perception is "Dharmadhatu virtue" etc., six and a half verses. The Sutra says: "Whether the Tathagatas appear in the world or not, the nature of dharmas remains constant." Also, the Prajnaparamita Sutra says: "Speaking does not increase it, not speaking does not decrease it." The meaning of the first verse of the Root Wisdom Treatise is: considering self-nature and Dharmadhatu as one, if it arises from causes and conditions, it will become something that arises suddenly, which is also unreasonable, because the meaning of self-nature is unconditioned and not dependent on others. Therefore, self-nature cannot be changed by dedication. The meaning of the second verse is: self-nature cannot change, because if self-nature exists, it will not become non-existent later. Therefore, self-nature cannot be dedicated. Third, summarizing the meaning, which is "those" etc., are two. Second, refuting the answer to eliminate its faults, divided into two parts: stating the opponent's view and refuting the opponent's view. The first part is "if the nature of dharma" etc., four sentences, meaning: even if the nature of dharma, suchness, cannot be changed by dedication, but if it is changed with the thought of "may it become the cause of attaining Buddhahood," it will become the mind training of a Bodhisattva, so there is no fault, if you think like that. The second part is divided into four points: showing that dedication with characteristics is like poison, showing that dedication without characteristics is mind training, the reason why dedication with characteristics cannot become mind training, and if you cling to the non-characteristic as characteristic, it is too extreme.
