Explanation completed. The appearance of the heart and tongue without burning, and the arising of bodies etc. from bones, all belong to the Dharma. If someone asks, is it contradictory to the episode of the father and son meeting in the Ratnakuta Sutra, which says, "Their fame will not diminish, and the relics will also increase. In their relics, five Buddha bodies will appear."? Answer: That refers to the future, to the situation of building Buddha images based on relics, so there is no fault. The fourth is "Many Suns" etc., six and a half verses. In the sutra called the Twelve-Eyed Sutra, it says, "If the Buddha image in the temple moves, or tears come from the eyes, then the hero of that country, together with many beloved sons, will be exiled." And, "When worshiping worldly deities, if the deity speaks or smiles, then the king will encounter obstacles and harm." And in the scripture called 'The Appearance Shown by the Great Ascetic Sage Kargyas', it says, "If anywhere the image of a worldly deity dances, shakes violently, speaks, eyes are filled with tears, sweats, cracks, breaks into pieces, is completely destroyed, etc., then one should know that various kinds of fears will arise. Among them, dancing indicates that many wars will occur." And, "Moving the feet indicates that one will leave their homeland." Secondly, correcting errors in words is divided into two: refuting the wrong explanations that should be discarded, and establishing the correct explanations that should be adopted. The first is further divided into two: the erroneous way of explaining in Tibetan, and the erroneous way of explaining in Chinese. The first is "Those meanings" etc., six and a half verses. Regarding the explanation of Bhagavan (Tibetan: བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས།, Sanskrit Devanagari: भगवन्, Sanskrit Romanization: bhagavan, literal Chinese meaning: World Honored One), saying "Because he has conquered the four maras, he is 'conqueror', because he possesses six perfections, he is 'possessor', because he has transcended the laws of samsara, he is 'transcender'," this is wrong. Because "Bhagavan (Tibetan: བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས།, Sanskrit Devanagari: भगवन्, Sanskrit Romanization: bhagavan, literal Chinese meaning: World Honored One)" in "Bhaga (Tibetan: བཅོམ།, Sanskrit Devanagari: भग, Sanskrit Romanization: bhaga, literal Chinese meaning: conqueror)" contains the meanings of conquering, perfection, auspiciousness, etc., and "van (Tibetan: ལྡན།, Sanskrit Devanagari: वन्, Sanskrit Romanization: van, literal Chinese meaning: possessor)" means possessing, so the first three meanings should all be connected. Moreover, there is no corresponding Sanskrit word for "transcended." In the explanation of the scriptures, saying "Because they are sandwiched between wooden boards and tied into bundles with book ropes, they are called scriptures," this is wrong. Because wooden boards and book ropes are also names relative to scriptures.

The error in explaining the meaning of hand gestures is: "Mudra" refers to India, because a new Sanskrit term for hand has been added. The error in explaining primordial wisdom is: "Jnana" refers to realization or understanding, because there is no primordial Sanskrit term. The error in explaining yoga is: "Yoga" refers to union, because there is no Sanskrit term for "yogi." So, what is the reason for adding the words "transcendence," "India," "ya," and "yogi"? If these words are not added, it will be mistaken for merely worldly excellence, worldly India, mere realization, and mere dualistic union. Therefore, the translators skillfully added these words. The error in explaining it as the strength of an army is that there is no such Sanskrit term. The error in explaining Tummo is: "Chandali" refers to the butcher who slays conceptual thoughts. The meaning of "Naga" and "Mount Meru" are clear from the letters themselves. The second is: Twenty-two verses, such as "Daughter of the Shakya." Some of these are errors because they did not know how to translate Sanskrit into Tibetan, and most are errors because they did not recognize that it was Sanskrit and interpreted it with Tibetan sounds. It will become clear by seeing the text itself. The second is: Fourteen items, such as "Tathagata." Regarding the explanation of the meaning of "Tathagata," explaining it as realizing suchness, etc., is reasonable in Sanskrit because: "Tathagata (ཏ་ཐཱ་ག་ཏ་,तथागत,tathāgata, Thus Gone)" refers to realizing suchness; "Arhat (ཨརྷ་ཏ་,अर्हत्,arhat, Worthy One)" refers to being worthy of offerings from gods and humans; "Raja (རཱ་ཛ་,राज,rāja, King)" refers to being great, beautiful, and radiant; "Kshanti (ཀྵནྟེ་,क्षान्ति,kṣānti, Patience)" refers to not being swayed by adverse conditions; "Kandha (ཀནྡྷ་,कन्ध,kandha, Aggregate)" refers to the shoulder that bears and carries; "Hetu (ཧེ་ཏུ་,हेतु,hetu, Cause)" refers to the realm of reality, cause, and the three realms; "Bhaga (བྷ་ག་,भाग,bhāga, Share)" refers to a portion; "Pudurajaya (པུ་དུ་ར་ཛ་ཡ་,पुदुराजय,pudurājaya, Very difficult to conquer)" refers to being extremely evil and difficult to conquer; "Anushaya (ཨ་ནུ་ཤ་ཡ་ཅེས་,अनुशय,anuśaya, Latent Tendency)" refers to the place where Dharma manifests; "Shakya (ཤཱཀྱ་,शाक्य,śākya, Shakya)" is the Sanskrit that is retained, and if translated into Tibetan, it means "able." These are not explained literally like explaining the words Arhat and King, etc., so Tibetan sounds a bit uncomfortable, but because it is a well-combined pure Sanskrit, it is very reasonable, therefore, the wise...
