Because of the ground, and because the fruit of practicing brahmacharya cannot be obtained from just one. Seventh, there are three divisions from the perspective of how rebirth is taken: a general presentation of the divisions, a specific explanation of the cases at hand, and a resolution of doubts about difficult points. First, in general, the non-returner state is divided from the perspective of qualities into those who have attained cessation and those who have not. The first is the body-manifestor, which has two types: those who have attained the path of seeing and have abandoned their physical support, and those who have not abandoned it. Those who have not attained cessation have two types: those who have attained the path of seeing and have abandoned their physical support, and those who have not abandoned it. The first is considered to be the noble one who has exhausted his life. The second is divided into three types: those who do not take rebirth in any of the three realms and manifest nirvana in this life, those who take rebirth in the form realm in the future, and those who do not take rebirth in the form realm but take rebirth in the formless realm. The first is the one who dwells in the present dharma, the second is the one who goes near to form, and the third is the one who goes near to formlessness. The one who goes near to form is further divided into those who only take the intermediate existence in the form realm and those who take the birth existence. The first is the one who transcends the intermediate state. The latter is divided into those who only take one birth existence and those who take two or more. The first is the one who transcends birth. The second is the one who goes upwards, which is further divided into those who take two or more birth existences in the form realm and then manifest nirvana in the form realm, and those who take them in this way and then manifest nirvana in the formless realm. The first is the one who goes to the ultimate end of Akanistha, and the latter is the one who goes to the ultimate end of the peak of existence. The first is further divided into those who only take two birth existences in the form realm, those who only take three, and those who take seventeen and then manifest nirvana in the support of form. These three are respectively designated as the one who progresses, the one who progresses halfway, and the one who dies and transmigrates in all places. The one who goes near to formlessness is further divided into those who only take one birth existence in the formless realm and those who take two or more. The first is the one who transcends birth in the formless realm, and the latter is designated as the one who goes upwards in the formless realm. Second, there are five specific explanations of the cases at hand: the one who goes near to form, the one who goes near to formlessness, the one who dwells in the present dharma, the noble one who has exhausted his life, and the explanation of the body-manifestor. The first, the definition is:

There are two types: itself and divisions. The first is: Those special Non-returners who have attained the Path of Seeing and possess a physical basis, who take birth in the Form Realm and manifest Nirvana. There are two types of divisions: actual divisions and explanations of the various types mentioned in the Sutras. The first has three types: Intermediate Nirvana, Born Nirvana, and Upper Stream. The first has two aspects: definition and division. The first is: A Non-returner who is about to be reborn in the Form Realm, who takes only one intermediate existence in the Form Realm, and manifests Nirvana on the basis of that intermediate existence. The second division has three types: Quick Nirvana, Non-Quick Nirvana, and Long-Time Nirvana. The first is: Immediately after the intermediate existence is formed, one enters Nirvana, like a spark that disappears as soon as it flashes upwards into the sky. The second is: After the intermediate existence is formed, one enters Nirvana just before the desire to enter the next existence arises, like a morning spark that disappears as it turns from rising to falling in the sky. The third is: One begins to enter the next existence, but enters Nirvana just before obtaining that existence, like an iron spark that turns downwards and disappears before it falls to the ground. Furthermore, from the perspective of the basis on which Nirvana is manifested, there are seventeen types, from manifesting Nirvana on the basis of the intermediate existence of the Brahma Host to manifesting Nirvana on the basis of the intermediate existence of Akanistha. The analysis of whether these will enter complete extinction or not has already been explained. The second, Born Nirvana, has two aspects: definition and division. The first is the definition of Born Nirvana in the Form Realm: A Non-returner who, having been born in the Form Realm, possesses the karma to experience the Form Realm and is about to be reborn in the Form Realm, takes only one existence in the Form Realm, and manifests Nirvana on that basis. The second division has three types: those who enter extinction immediately after birth, those who enter extinction without effort, and those who enter extinction with effort. The definitions are, in order: A Born Nirvana in the Form Realm, who, as soon as existence in the Form Realm is formed, manifests Nirvana through the spontaneous arising of the Path. What is that? After existence in the Form Realm is formed, and after some time has passed, the Path spontaneously
