Because it is "Ra". To be born and completely liberated from suffering is the most natural path, the greatest, and the most subtle. Moving upwards refers to not being completely liberated from suffering in the very place where one is born above, but rather going upwards. Moving and going are the same thing. That is, if one develops meditation, one will go to Akanistha. Moving upwards is of two kinds in terms of cause and effect: in terms of cause, it is developing meditation and not developing meditation; in terms of effect, it is going to Akanistha and reaching the peak of existence. Among these, those who develop meditation go to Akanistha and are completely liberated from suffering. There, all leaps, half leaps. Death transference. Moving upwards to the end of Akanistha is also of three kinds due to differences such as leaps. Among these, a leap refers to developing meditations here, experiencing the taste of the first dhyana, completely falling away from the three dhyanas, being born among the Brahma hosts, and due to the power of previous habituation, developing the fourth dhyana, and then dying and transferring, being born among the Akanistha beings, because one does not go in between, it is called a leap. A half leap refers to being born in the Pure Abodes, and in between also passing through some other places, and then entering Akanistha. Noble ones are not born among the Great Brahmas, because that is a place of viewing, and because there is only one lord. Death transference in all places refers to transferring to all other places and then entering Akanistha. A non-returner refers to never manifesting a second life in the very place of birth, because it is a special place to go. In this way, the non-returner is complete, because one who is born above will never return below or there. For a while, developing meditation and then going to Akanistha, one should know that it is like that. Other than that, one will go to the peak of existence. Moving upwards without developing meditation refers to reaching the peak of existence, that is, experiencing the taste of other samadhis, being born in all other places, but only entering the Pure Abodes.

The order of arising without obstruction, reaching the peak of existence and completely attaining Nirvana. This is the practice of Shamatha (calm abiding). The former is the practice of Vipassana (insight). Transferring upwards, it is possible to attain complete Nirvana in the intermediate state. The ultimate of Akanistha and the peak of existence is because there is no further going. For example, if a Stream-enterer reaches the ultimate, it is like the seventh time. For the time being, those are the five Non-returners because they are close to the Form Realm. Regarding these meanings, the expression "attaining complete Nirvana in the Bardo" and so on indicates how the four Nirvanas are manifested. Here, although there is no explicit mention of Nirvana without remainder in the intermediate state, it is said that for the state of birth, Nirvana is attained with the remainder of the aggregates. And others say that, from the tone of the debate, it is indicated that in the intermediate state, Nirvana is attained without remainder. Regarding this, former scholars thought that it meant approaching without remainder, and that there is no autonomy over abandoning and taking life, so it needs to be examined, and that it means attaining Nirvana without taking the aggregates of the state of birth. Although there are these three views, those are the views that hold that Nirvana is attained with remainder. The key meaning is this: manifesting Nirvana on the basis of the intermediate state is simultaneous with the transference of death. After manifesting Nirvana, it is also said that one remains on the basis of remainder, and these are all referring to the basis of the state of birth. How is this known? Even if Nirvana is manifested, life remains because it remains due to the power of the projection of life that has become the result of the completing karma. Although the length of life, etc., which has become the result of the completing karma, does not necessarily require the result of the projecting karma of that karma, in general, it must arise on the basis of the Vipaka aggregates that have become the result of the projecting karma, and that is only on the aggregates of the state of birth. Because for this system, all the dependent origination of the result, which is encompassed by the twelve links of dependent origination, seems to be established only between the state of birth and the state of death, and there is no way of establishing it in the intermediate state. As it is said: "Consciousness is the connection of aggregates," and the connection
