The yoga of gradual progression. The yoga of gradual progression of the six recollections of perfect intention. The yoga of gradual progression of realizing the unreal nature, these three. The first has six, such as the yoga of gradual progression of generosity paramita. The definition of the first: The bodhisattva yoga that is sustained by the practice of generosity paramita, in order to gain stability, meditating on the aspects of the three wisdoms in order. This also applies to the latter five. The second has six, namely the yoga of gradual progression of recollecting the Buddha, Dharma, Sangha, discipline, giving, and deities. The order of definitions is: By means of the three paths of mindfulness and so on, without recollection in the ultimate sense, and in the conventional sense, by means of recollecting the characteristics, and good, non-good, and indeterminate dharmas in the ultimate sense, and so on, and noble bodhisattvas in the ultimate sense, and so on, and the three disciplines in the ultimate sense, and so on, and the three kinds of giving in the ultimate sense, and so on, and noble beings born as deities without recollection in the ultimate sense, and in the conventional sense, by means of recollecting the characteristics, in order to gain stability, the bodhisattva yoga that meditates on the aspects of the three wisdoms in order. The third is the definition of the yoga of gradual progression of realizing the unreal nature: By means of realizing that all dharmas do not have a true nature, in order to gain stability, and so on. The third is: According to the noble ones, it exists in the accumulation path of the Great Vehicle. According to the teachers, it exists from the second moment of the heat stage of the Great Vehicle up to the earlier part of the limit of existence. The "Lamp Illuminating the Hidden Meaning" elaborates on the branches of the dharmas that are symbolized in the sixth chapter. Seventh is the yoga of a single moment, which has three aspects: definition, classification, and boundary. The first is: Having gained stability, the bodhisattva yoga that simultaneously meditates on the aspects of the three wisdoms in a single moment is the ultimate. The second has four types of single-moment yoga: non-resultant, resultant, without characteristics, and non-dual. The first has three aspects: the actual definition, the determination of whether it is a result, and the example of manifestation. The first is: Manifesting one type of undefiled realization that is non-resultant.

The ultimate bodhisattva yoga that can manifest all uncontaminated dharmas of the same kind as that. The second is: In the state of permanence, the uncontaminated realization types below the seventh ground are called non-vipaka uncontaminated realization types, because the uncontaminated wisdom below the seventh ground is established as non-vipaka with effort. In the state of permanence, the realization types above the eighth ground are called vipaka uncontaminated realization types, because the qualities above the eighth ground are established as vipaka without relying on effort. Here, it is important that the non-vipaka uncontaminated qualities and their realization types are not confused, because if it is an uncontaminated quality above the eighth ground, then it is pervaded by not being a non-vipaka uncontaminated quality, but it is not pervaded by its realization type. The third is: If one manifests an uncontaminated realization type, then one can manifest all realization types of the same kind as it, just as when a person takes a step, the series of buckets moves all at once. The characteristics of the latter three are, respectively: The ultimate bodhisattva yoga that can manifest all uncontaminated realization types of the same kind as it when one manifests a vipaka uncontaminated realization type, and the ultimate bodhisattva yoga that directly realizes that all dharmas are without true characteristics, and the ultimate bodhisattva yoga that directly realizes that all dharmas are without the duality of grasper and grasped. The third is: The first two are distinguished by the way a permanent wisdom manifests qualities, and the latter two are distinguished by the way of realizing the nature of reality, so all four are only permanent. In "Hidden Meaning Illuminating Lamp," the branches of the objects of expression of the seventh chapter are explained in detail. Eighth, the resultant dharmakaya has two aspects: nature and division. The first is the ultimate vipaka of meditating on the four applications. The second has two aspects: the way the noble ones explain the fundamental intention, and the way the teachers explain the words of the elders. The first has the essence.

From the perspective of (what is relied upon), there are two types: the support body and the activities that are relied upon. From the perspective of the signifying Dharma, there are four types: Dharmakaya, Sambhogakaya, Nirmanakaya, and activities. The first is divided into two: the explanation of the nature and the distinction of uncontaminated qualities. The first is the ultimate realm of the two purities, and the self-benefit ultimate truth body that is inseparable from uncontaminated qualities. The second is: Then, what is the uncontaminated wisdom that possesses three natures? This has three aspects: the nature of wisdom, the distinction of qualities, and the refutation of arguments against it. The first has twenty-one categories. First, the factors conducive to enlightenment; second, the four immeasurables; third, the eight liberations; fourth, the nine successive abidings of meditative absorption. These respective natures have already been explained in the first and fourth chapters. Here, when connecting to the Buddha-ground, it is connected by adding "the ultimate wisdom of the completely transformed place." Fifth, the exhaustion. It is divided into two: nature and difference. The first is: Relying on the actual mind of the self-cause meditative concentration, the appearance of the object that is established as the exhaustion through which, the samadhi that can spread and pervade all knowable things of its own object, is the nature of the samadhi of exhaustion. If it is established as the nature of the exhaustion birth place, then add "the samadhi that is capable in this way is in accordance with wisdom" to connect. Second, the ten kinds of exhaustion: earth, water, fire, wind, blue, yellow, red, white, space, and the consciousness realm. The natures are in order: Relying on the actual mind of the self-cause meditative concentration, from the appearance of the object earth to consciousness, the samadhi that can spread and pervade all knowable things of its own object, in accordance with wisdom, is connected separately in this way. According to the Abhidharmakosa, the first eight are: the nature of the mind that can spread in this way arising without attachment, and the latter two are connected by relying on the actual existence of the formless realm of self-cause. Sixth, the mastery is divided into two: nature and difference. The first is: Relying on the actual mind of meditative concentration, for all forms of its own object, as desired
