First, the definition. A meditative abandonment of conceptual thought in the Great Vehicle, which is the manifest clinging to the apprehended object to be entered into its own realm. The classification includes nine types, such as clinging to the manifest, focusing on the teachings summarized by the Teacher. Second, the definition. Whatever clings to the apprehended object to be reversed in its own realm. The classification includes nine types, such as clinging to the apprehended object, focusing on the non-arising of the mind of enlightenment. The second part includes two types: meditative abandonment of substantialistic conceptual thought and meditative abandonment of imputation conceptual thought. First, the definition. Whatever clings to the enjoyer, manifesting as the enjoyer. The classification includes nine types, such as clinging to the manifest as the enjoyer, focusing on the imputed sentient being. Second, the definition. Whatever clings to the enjoyer, manifesting as merely imputed. The classification includes nine types, such as clinging to the manifest as merely imputed to the enjoyer, focusing on the meditative abandonment that obscures omniscience. Second, according to the noble ones, there are two types: meditative abandonment of the apprehended and meditative abandonment of the apprehender. The first has two types: the apprehended conceptual thought with the object of conjunction and the apprehended conceptual thought with the object of entry. The latter has two types: the apprehender conceptual thought based on the imputation of sentient beings and the apprehender conceptual thought based on the reason for imputation. This view is the intention of the root text: "Having the object of the aspect of conjunction." And, "It is considered to be the object of entry." And, "Of sentient beings and their reasons, having the object" is said. Just as the conceptual thoughts to be abandoned by seeing have four unique names such as entering the apprehended, this is also definitely necessary, and it appears in the texts as needed. Third, the qualities. By abandoning the seeds of the one hundred and eight conceptual thoughts in the form of meditative abandonment of the apprehended and the apprehender, all the perfect realizations of the three vehicles come about like rivers flowing into a great ocean. This is the quality of the continuum of a Bodhisattva who abides in the great path of meditation. Seventh, the peak union of uninterruptedness has two aspects: the essence and the object. The first is the yoga of a Bodhisattva, which is the most excellent condensed meditation without interruption by other phenomena, for the generation of omniscience, which is the direct result of oneself. The second is that all phenomena are true realities.
