It exists from the supreme to the end of the constant. The fifth is the conceptual thoughts to be abandoned, and the two antidotes, the peak application of the path of seeing. The first includes the grasping thought, the reversing grasping thought, the substance-grasping thought, and the imputation-grasping thought, which are the actual manifest seeing-path abandonments in this context. The definition of the first: Any obscuration of knowledge that has become a seeing-path abandonment, with its own object, the Dharma of the Great Vehicle, as its object, is a mind that manifestly clings to the graspable as something to be taken. The divisions are nine types of minds that manifestly cling to the graspable as something to be taken, such as the nature of the Bodhisattva path. The definition of the second: Any mind that, with its own object, the Dharma of the Lesser Vehicle, as its object, manifestly clings to the graspable as something to be abandoned. The divisions are nine types of minds that manifestly cling to the graspable as something to be abandoned, such as inferior conceptual thoughts. The definition of the third: Any mind that, with its own object, the enjoyer, manifestly clings to the agent as being true. The divisions are nine types of minds that, with the Prajnaparamita that has been taken and abandoned as its object, manifestly cling to the agent as being true. The definition of the fourth: Any mind that, with its own object, the enjoyer, manifestly clings to the agent as being merely imputed. The divisions are nine types of minds that, with things that intentionally do not necessarily arise, etc., as their objects, manifestly cling to the agent as being merely imputed. Second, the antidote, the peak application of the path of seeing, has a meaning that arises incidentally and the actual, genuine peak application of the path of seeing. The first includes the cause of great enlightenment and the actual great enlightenment taught in this context. The definition of the first: That which has become a collection of causes that generate the seeing-path of the Great Vehicle, which is its own result. The divisions are three: placing others in the Dharma of realizing the fruit, placing the cause in the Dharma of the scriptures, and the uninterrupted cause for oneself to attain great enlightenment. The second has three: identifying the Madhyamaka's view of great enlightenment, refuting the Realist's view of great enlightenment, and advising those who desire liberation to enter into emptiness. The first has two: a definition and divisions. The first is: That which has exhausted defilements from the beginning and has become the ultimate refuge through manifestly realizing that they do not arise. The second is the three bodies. Second, refuting the Realist's view of enlightenment has two: refuting with the reasoning of factual power and refuting with contradiction to one's own commitments. The first is: The seeing-path of the Great Vehicle,

If it is said that the defilements that have existed from the beginning are newly eliminated through antidotes, and the defilements that have existed from the beginning are cut off from their growth through antidotes, and are manifestly realized in a way that they do not arise, thereby establishing them in Bodhi, that is unreasonable. Because defilements are not established from the beginning. The second case is: proponents of realism, your assertion that defilements are truly established, and the teacher Buddha's promise to have completely eliminated defilements, these two are contradictory. Because if defilements are truly established, then defilements cannot be eliminated through antidotes. So, according to your view, how are defilements eliminated through antidotes? It is through the four yogic grounds that they are gradually eliminated. In this regard, there are four aspects of the four yogic grounds: definition, boundary, fixed number, and fixed order. First, the definition of the yogic ground of realizing selflessness: In order to generate the view of realizing that all phenomena are selfless, the manifest realization included in the Mahayana accumulation path, which involves meditating on the selflessness of the person in relation to the aggregates. The definition of the yogic ground of realizing the absence of the apprehended: The manifest realization included in any of the heat and peak stages of a Bodhisattva who has obtained clarity on the meaning of the absence of inherent existence of the apprehended. The definition of the yogic ground of realizing the absence of the apprehender: The manifest realization included in any of the forbearance and supreme stages of a Bodhisattva who has obtained clarity on the meaning of the absence of inherent existence of the apprehender. The definition of the yogic ground of realizing freedom from elaboration: The wisdom that manifestly realizes that all phenomena are free from the four extremes of elaboration, and which becomes the antidote to the elimination of the obscurations of knowledge in one's own share. Second, the first should be practiced in the Mahayana accumulation path, because there one enters the view of realizing the selflessness of phenomena, and one must practice in order to subdue the bonds of afflictions. The second should be practiced in any of the heat and peak stages of the Mahayana path, because there is a clearer manifestation of the meaning of the absence of inherent existence of the apprehended. The third should be practiced in the two stages of forbearance and supreme of the Mahayana path, because there is a clearer manifestation of the meaning of the absence of inherent existence of the apprehender. The fourth should be practiced from the Mahayana path of seeing onwards, because there it is practiced as the actual antidote to the seeds of the conceptual thoughts of the apprehended and the apprehender.
