From the eleventh chapter: The nature of the first chapter. The difference in the way of grasping the understanding of the ground's reality. This is not the ground of the three, ground, path, and fruit, but the four noble truths of the noble ones. If divided, there are three aspects of knowledge: ground knowledge, path knowledge, and omniscient knowledge. The nature of the first chapter: It is a type of realization that realizes either the selflessness of the person or the selflessness of phenomena on the basis of the four noble truths of the ground. If divided, there are twelve aspects of the first three truths and fifteen aspects of the path truth, totaling twenty-seven. The first is the truth of suffering, realizing impermanence, the non-arising of suffering in the ultimate sense, being devoid of a self of other meaning, and not being deceived by the view of self, these are the four aspects of the truth of suffering. In the ultimate sense, there is no place for the arising of suffering, like the sky, without arising or ceasing, without discursive thoughts to be expressed, and realizing the absence of the aggregates of name and form, these are the four aspects of the truth of origin. Not to be obtained by going and coming, etc., not to be robbed by the appearance of blue, etc., impurities are inexhaustible in the ultimate sense, and not arising in the ultimate sense, realizing this is the four aspects of the truth of cessation. The second has three aspects: the first path, the second path, and the third path. The first is realizing the absence of a self of the agent, the absence of a self of the knower, the absence of transference in the ultimate sense, and the absence of diminution in the ultimate sense, these are four. The second is realizing that the object of apprehension, external objects, are without essence like a dream, unborn like an echo, unceasing like a mirage, peaceful from the beginning like water in a mirage, and having the nature of an illusion, naturally in nirvana, these are five. The third is realizing that the object of apprehension, both defiled and purified, is without self-nature, realizing that it is not stained by defilement, realizing that there is no elaboration of distinctions, realizing that there is no object of deception in one's own realization, and realizing that realization, once attained, is unmoving, these are six. Among these, the twelve aspects of the first three truths of the Hearer's continuum and the four aspects of the first path of the path truth, totaling sixteen, and...

The five aspects of the second path of the post-meditation yoga path, and the six aspects of the third path of the equipoise path, are the actual realizations of the object as what kind of realization category they are placed. The twenty-seven in the continuum of the Bodhisattva are the realization categories of those. The main thing to be shown here is what is in the continuum of the Bodhisattva, because it is the aspect that has become the object of meditation of the complete stage yoga. Second, the definition of the knowledge of the path. The difference in the way of holding that manifestly realizes the nature of the path on the basis of the four truths. Divided, there are eight aspects of the truth of origin, seven aspects of the truth of the path, five aspects of the truth of suffering, and sixteen aspects of the truth of cessation, totaling thirty-six. First, the aspect of realizing the knowledge of the path as being free from attachment, and similarly, the eight aspects of the knowledge of the path as being non-abiding, peaceful, attachment, hatred, delusion, affliction, and without sentient beings. The first three are the aspects of the cause, then the three are the aspects of the origin, then one is the aspect of extreme birth, then one is the aspect of the condition. Second, immeasurable and not separated from the two extremes, these are the two aspects of the path. Non-different and without clinging to the supreme, these are the two aspects of reason. Non-conceptual and immeasurable, these are the two aspects of practice. Without cessation, this is one aspect of renunciation. Third, impermanence, suffering, emptiness, and selflessness, these are the four aspects of self-character. All of them are without self-nature, this is one aspect of general character. Fourth, the aspects of emptiness of inner, outer, and both, these are the three aspects of cessation. Emptiness, great, ultimate, conditioned, unconditioned, beyond extremes, without beginning or end, emptiness without abandonment, these are the eight aspects of peace. The aspect of self-nature emptiness, this is one aspect of rarity. All phenomena, self-character, emptiness without object, and the aspect of the nature of emptiness without entity, these are the four aspects of renunciation. Here, the "aspects" are all the holding of realizing this and that.
