From the perspective of the path, there are three paths: the path of seeing, the path of cultivation, and the path of no more learning. From the perspective of the dharma that is expressed, there is the basic wisdom that does not abide in existence due to knowledge, and the one that does not abide in peace due to compassion. Approaching the fruit, far from it, the unfavorable side, the antidote to the basic wisdom, the practice of basic wisdom, the equality of practice. Among the nine, including the entering fruit and the path of seeing. The definition of the first: The wisdom of a Bodhisattva who can suppress the extreme of existence with the wisdom that realizes the equality of the three times without inherent existence. The definition of the second: The wisdom of a noble being who can suppress the extreme of peace with objectless compassion. These two, in the detailed explanation of the limbs, are shown in one direction as the nature of the basic wisdom, so it is the definition of the basic wisdom of the Bodhisattva that is directly shown. The wisdom of a noble being who can suppress the extremes of existence and peace with special skillful means and wisdom. The implied definition of the Hearers and Solitary Realizers: The direct perception of the noble Hearers and Solitary Realizers who do not have special skillful means and wisdom and cannot suppress the extremes of existence and peace. The definition of the third: The wisdom of a noble being who is skilled in practicing the fruit mother. The definition of the fourth: The direct perception of the noble Hearers and Solitary Realizers who are not skilled in practicing the fruit mother. The definition of the fifth: The direct perception of the noble Hearers and Solitary Realizers who are bound by clinging to characteristics, clinging to any of the three: basis, path, and fruit. The definition of the sixth: The wisdom of a noble being who is not bound by clinging to characteristics, clinging to any of the three: basis, path, and fruit. Incidentally, the definition of clinging to characteristics of the basis: The mind that clings to the basis as an object. If classified, there are two types: clinging to the nature of the basis as a characteristic, and clinging to the characteristic of the basis as a characteristic. The definition of clinging to characteristics of the path: The mind that clings to the path as practice. If classified, there are two types: clinging to generosity, etc., and clinging to the factors of enlightenment as practice. The definition of clinging to characteristics of the fruit: The mind that clings to the fruit as something to be obtained. This, as an unfavorable side, shows that the object is profound when practicing, and that it is difficult to realize when practicing it, and that it is inconceivable when practicing it. Among the three antidotes to these, the definition of the antidote to clinging to characteristics of the basis: The one who can prevent the manifestation of clinging to characteristics of the basis or abandon the seeds.

菩萨的智慧。其中,显现的遮止是菩萨的加行道等持,存在于不净七地的后得位;断除种子存在于十地的等持中。这也能解释另外两个。第七的定义:证悟基无自性的学道的智慧,以及与之相应的。

The wisdom of a Bodhisattva. Among these, the prevention of manifestation is the Bodhisattva's path of application, meditative equipoise, and exists in the subsequent attainment of the impure seven grounds; the abandonment of seeds exists in the meditative equipoise of all ten grounds. This also explains the other two. Definition of the seventh: The wisdom of the lineage of learning that realizes the ground as without essence, along with its correspondences. Divisions: The directly indicated Bodhisattva's ground-consciousness application, and the indirectly indicated Lesser Vehicle's ground-consciousness application. Definition of the first: The yoga of a Bodhisattva who, with the wisdom that realizes the ground as without inherent nature, prevents the manifest clinging to the ground and cultivates it. Divisions: The four applications of nature, and the six applications of circumstance. The first are the four applications that prevent actions towards the essence of the ground, the distinctions of the ground, the completeness or incompleteness of form, etc., and the distinctions of what to abandon and what to adopt. The second are the applications that prevent actions towards immutability, absence of an agent, the three difficult deeds, the non-emptiness of results, the protection not depending on others, and the manifestation of the seven aspects. In terms of grounds, the antidote to coarse clinging exists up to the seventh ground, while mere application exists up to the tenth ground. Definition of the second: The wisdom of the Lesser Vehicle's path of learning, which cultivates the ground as without essence, without being able to prevent clinging to the nature of the ground. Definition of the eighth: The yoga of a Bodhisattva who, without perceiving the object and subject of the ground-consciousness application as real, realizes them as equality and cultivates them. The ninth has two: the directly indicated Bodhisattva's path of seeing and the indirectly indicated Lesser Vehicle's path of seeing. Definition of the first: That which is included in the continuum of meditative equipoise that first directly sees the nature of the ground by cultivating the application of ground-consciousness, and which is able to primarily lead to a definitive understanding that is free from the elaborations of the two extremes regarding the nature of the ground. Divisions: The sixteen aspects of the Bodhisattva's path of seeing, from the forbearance of the dharma of suffering to the subsequent knowledge of the path. Definition of the first: The meditative equipoise of the Bodhisattva's path of seeing, which is able to primarily lead to a definitive understanding that is free from the elaborations of permanence and impermanence regarding the truth of suffering. This also explains the others. Definition of the indirectly indicated Lesser Vehicle's path of seeing: Newly and directly seeing the absence of self of the ground-person
