Therefore. Secondly, the sixteen moments of the wisdom and forbearance of the Bodhisattva of Suffering (Sduṃ, Tibetan, no Devanagari and Romanization yet, Suffering) and Truth (Bdeṃn, Tibetan, no Devanagari and Romanization yet, Truth), are Dharmata. Since it is the path of seeing that is actually pointed out from the time of explaining the base wisdom, it is the direct realization of the great vehicle's truth that is free from the thirty-two elaborations of permanence and impermanence, etc. There are three in the second, the first is, Truth (Bdeṃn, Tibetan, no Devanagari and Romanization yet, Truth), etc. The second is, Form (Gzuṃgs, Tibetan, no Devanagari and Romanization yet, Form) Permanent (Rtagṃs, Tibetan, no Devanagari and Romanization yet, Permanent), etc. There are two in the third, namely the path of seeing of the Bodhisattva that is actually pointed out, and the path of seeing of the Lesser Vehicle that is indirectly pointed out. There are two in the first, namely, the extensive explanation and the summary of meaning. There are four in the first, the first aspect of the truth of suffering is, Like (Ngoṃ, Tibetan, no Devanagari and Romanization yet, Like) This (Boṃ, Tibetan, no Devanagari and Romanization yet, This) the first moment of the samadhi of the Bodhisattva's path of seeing, is Dharmata. Because it is the forbearance of the dharma of suffering that is pointed out from the time of explaining the base wisdom, it is the samadhi of the path of seeing that can lead to the main determination of the cessation of the elaborations of permanence and impermanence, etc. of form, etc. By this, the other three are explained. The second aspect of the truth of origin is, Cause (Rgyuṃ, Tibetan, no Devanagari and Romanization yet, Cause) and (Daṃ, Tibetan, no Devanagari and Romanization yet, and) such fifth moment, is Dharmata. Because it is the forbearance of the dharma of origin that is pointed out from the time of explaining the base wisdom, it is the samadhi of the path of seeing that can lead to the main determination of the cessation of the elaborations of the origin being a cause and not a cause. By this, the other three are explained. The third aspect of the truth of cessation is, Cessation (Gaṃng, Tibetan, no Devanagari and Romanization yet, Cessation) and (Giṃ, Tibetan, no Devanagari and Romanization yet, and) such ninth moment, is Dharmata. Because it is the forbearance of the dharma of cessation that is pointed out from the time of explaining the base wisdom, it is the samadhi of the path of seeing that can lead to the main determination of the cessation of the elaborations of the truth of cessation being cessation and not cessation. By this, the other three are explained. The fourth aspect of the truth of the path is, Path (Laṃm, Tibetan, no Devanagari and Romanization yet, Path) and (Daṃg, Tibetan, no Devanagari and Romanization yet, and) such thirteenth moment, is Dharmata. Because it is the forbearance of the dharma of the path that is pointed out from the time of explaining the base wisdom, it is the samadhi of the path of seeing that can lead to the main determination of the cessation of the elaborations of the truth of the path being a path and not a path. By this, the other three are explained. The second is, Like (Deṃ, Tibetan, no Devanagari and Romanization yet, Like) This (Ltaṃr, Tibetan, no Devanagari and Romanization yet, This) recording the meaning of the words briefly indicated. The second is, Hearer (Nyanṃ Thosṃ, Tibetan, no Devanagari and Romanization yet, Hearer) the sixteen moments of the wisdom and forbearance of the Hearer, are Dharmata. Because it is the path of seeing that is indirectly pointed out from the time of explaining the base wisdom, it is the direct realization of the truth that directly realizes the cessation of the sixteen elaborations of permanence, etc., and does not realize the cessation of the sixteen elaborations of impermanence, etc.

Furthermore, the third is: Maitreya (བྱམས་མགོན་) spoke, the Śrāvakayāna (ཉནཾ་ཐོསཾ་) dharma class. In this occasion of explaining the Basis Knowledge (གཞི་ཤེས་), the reason for not teaching the Path of Meditation (སྒོམ་ལམ་) after the Path of Seeing (མཐོང་ལམ་) is: the type of realization of the Śrāvakas is to be directly seen by the Bodhisattvas for the benefit of others, but not to be constantly meditated upon after having been directly seen. Third, there are three purposes for concluding the Three Knowledges for the sake of appearance and practice: First, the statement such as "Thus (དེཾ་ལྟརཾ་), thus (དེ་ལྟར་), this and also this," etc., is a dharma class (ཆོས་ཅན།) because it is easy to understand the conclusion of the extensive teaching of the Three Knowledges. Second, the sutra words such as "Thus (དེཾ་ལྟརཾ་), Subhūti (རབ་འབྱོར་), this mother of sutras teaches which dharma, or does not transcend the realm of formlessness," etc., are a dharma class because they completely teach the Three Knowledges through the first Basis Knowledge. It is because the subject matter of the three chapters, the Three Knowledges, are collected and taught through the first Basis Knowledge. Third, the third sutra words such as "Venerable One (བཤདཾ་མཾ་), Subhūti (རབ་འབྱོར་), this mother of sutras does not give or take away the Buddha's dharmas," etc., are a dharma class because they completely teach the Three Knowledges. It is because they are the sutra words that are collected and taught at the end of the extensive explanation of the Three Knowledges. Third, the conclusion from the context is Prajñā (ཤེཾས་རཾབ་), etc. Second, there are four practices of cultivation: the complete stage yoga for the purpose of gaining power, the peak yoga for meditating in the manner of gaining power, the gradual yoga for meditating for the purpose of gaining stability, and the instantaneous yoga for meditating all at once after gaining stability. The first has three parts: connecting from the perspective of establishing the relationship, extensively explaining the object to be signified, and concluding from the context. First, all (ཐམཾས་ཅཾད་) Maitreya (བྱམས་མགོན་) dharma classes, the reason for explaining the complete stage yoga after the Three Knowledges is that it is necessary to collect the meanings of the Three Knowledges determined by hearing and thinking, and then meditate on them through practice. The second has two parts: determining the way to enter the practice, and the order in which the practice arises. The first has four parts:
