Since all lands are like dreams. Etc., this is two verses. The sutra says: Shariputra said to Subhuti: If one abides in the samadhi of emptiness, signlessness, and wishlessness in a dream, will the perfection of wisdom increase? Subhuti said: If it increases by meditating during the day, it will also increase by meditating in a dream. Why? Because dreams and daytime are without conceptualization. So it is said. Dreams show samsara, because they are together with the delusion of ignorance. Daytime shows nirvana, because it is awakening from the sleep of ignorance. The absence of conceptualization means that in the post-attainment of the pure land, it also shows the abandonment of the conceptualization that grasps samsara and nirvana as different, thereby implying samadhi. The third is: Karma is absent, etc., objections. Etc., this is two verses. As it appears in the two appearances, the answer to the objection that karma is absent, etc., the word "etc." includes the answers to the objections that are contradictory in ultimate truth, uncertain in conventional truth, contradictory to the scriptures, and contradictory to each other, there are four types. The first objection is: Since it is said that all dharmas of samsara and nirvana are like dreams, then if they are like dreams, the karma of daytime will also become without karma, etc. This is to say, in the sutra, Shariputra said: Subhuti, does the karma that the great Bodhisattva does in a dream increase or decrease? And, its meaning in the two appearances, the objection that there is no karma for that is because if it is a dharma like a dream, then like a dream, the karma included by the preliminary practice, the main practice, and the concluding practice will become without decline and increase, which is what is said. So it is said. The second answer is the answer that is accepted in ultimate truth. The sutra says: The Blessed One said that all dharmas are like dreams, if so, karma will not increase or approach increase. Why? Because in the dharma of dreams, no increase or decrease is found. So it is said. In conventional truth, the answer is that the pervasion is uncertain. The sutra says: However, if one conceptualizes after waking up, then from that it will increase or decrease. And, in the two appearances: However, even if one wakes up, it is not that one conceptualizes after fully knowing, but that one will not not conceptualize. Therefore, karma and result.

It is arranged as an association that arises merely from expression. It is said that if it is like a dream, there is no need for karma in name, because in a dream, one dreams of accumulating karma, and if one nourishes it with subsequent conceptualization, it will become accumulating karma. That is its meaning. Secondly, the refutation is that if one nourishes it with subsequent conceptualization, karma will accumulate, and relying on the karma of dreams that have been accumulated, although it is not true, if one nourishes it with subsequent conceptualization, karma will accumulate, then the subsequent conceptualization is the ultimate reality of karma. If one nourishes it in this way, it becomes that karma is the ultimate reality, if one says so, the sutra says: Subhuti said: Shariputra, saying this, killing in the daytime and killing in a dream, thinking in the mind that I killed it, it is good that I killed it. When one conceptualizes in this way, Venerable Shariputra, what do you say about this? Its meaning is stated in the Two Appearances: Whatever is done by killing in the daytime, and what is called killing in a dream, refers to the most famous night and day. The expression in "in" is to distinguish the dream of samsara. Venerable Shariputra, what do you say about this? This is a complete inquiry with the nature of truth and untruth, although it is contrary to the antidote, but because conceptualization follows it, it is thus determined by the meaning of truly showing it as the ultimate truth. Thus. Secondly, the answer is, the sutra says: Subhuti said to Shariputra, without an object, karma does not arise, without an object, mind does not arise. From having an object, karma and mind arise, not without an object. From "thus holding completely purely," etc. The Two Appearances says: The answer here is that because it is promised that karma arises from having an object, and it is prevented that karma arises without an object, it is said again that it arises from expression. As it is said, those meanings are that if one nourishes it with subsequent conceptualization, karma will accumulate, then nourishing it with subsequent conceptualization, karma is the ultimate reality, thus nourishing it becomes that karma must become the ultimate reality, which is unreasonable. In name, contaminated karma and mind
