When one aspect of the three wisdoms to be cultivated manifests, it is for the purpose of manifesting all aspects of the three wisdoms. Having gained stability by cultivating it, when one uncontaminated dharma manifests, the state in which all uncontaminated dharmas of the same kind manifest in a single instant is called the instantaneous application. Secondly, the nature of such an instantaneous application is the wisdom of the ultimate continuity, and its characteristics are divided into four from the perspective of different meanings and negations: when one non-resultant uncontaminated realization manifests, all uncontaminated realizations of the same kind manifest in a single instant; and when one resultant uncontaminated realization manifests, all uncontaminated realizations of the same kind manifest in a single instant; and the way these two wisdoms understand the knowable, that is, realizing all dharmas as without characteristics, and realizing without the duality of grasping and grasper, from these negations, the four instantaneous applications are established in sequence. The first of these is "Even giving, etc., one by one," etc., and its example is also "Like a man's water bucket chain," etc. The second is "When all white dharmas," etc. The third is "The practice of giving, etc.," etc. The fourth is shown by "Dream and its seeing itself," etc. Then, what is non-resultant uncontaminated realization? What is resultant uncontaminated realization? What is the kind of realization of these two, and what is the example of all of the same kind manifesting when one manifests? The uncontaminated qualities of the seven impure grounds are called non-resultant, because the Sarvastivadins believe that the qualities arising from non-resultant application depend on effort in this life, and similarly, this also depends on effort because it is obstructed by the clinging to characteristics. The uncontaminated qualities of the pure grounds are called resultant, because the Sarvastivadins believe that the fruit of resultance does not require effort in this life due to the karma and afflictions of the previous life.

Just as it is believed that accomplishment can be achieved without effort, here too, because mastery over non-conceptual wisdom has been attained, it is independent of effort. The lineage of these two qualities exists in the state of constant ultimate reality, and they are established as the lineage of realization of these two. The examples can be understood from what has been said before. By this reason, it is also established that the gradual practice of the six perfections exists from the first bhumi. Because the lineage of realization to be cultivated by gradual practice manifests in the state of momentary practice. The dharmas that manifest there can include both the lineage of non-resultant uncontaminated realization and the lineage of resultant uncontaminated realization. Thinking thus, it needs to be carefully examined. In the Opening of the Hidden Meaning Profound Treasure, the connections and difficult points of the seventh chapter have been well explained. All complete practices.
