It is called "Knowing." This means that it is said to be only the realization that the dharmas of the base, outer and inner, are unborn. Secondly, the Lord Maitreya said in the context of offering praise that the Hearers know the base. The first chapter is the path of joining, and the fourth chapter is the path of seeing and the path of meditation. In the context of the path of seeing and the path of meditation, the three paths of joining, seeing, and meditation of the Bodhisattvas are said to be more excellent than the three paths of joining, seeing, and meditation of the Hearers and Solitary Realizers in terms of realization. In the second chapter, the three types of realization of Hearers, Solitary Realizers, and Bodhisattvas explain the classification of the selflessness of persons, half selflessness, and two selflessnesses in order. In the Uttaratantra, it says: "The ultimate meaning of the self-born, is to be realized only by faith, like the blazing orb of the sun, the blind cannot see." This means that no one other than the Mahayana Noble Ones can see the Tathagatagarbha. The Noble Nagarjuna says in the Ratnavali: "The non-existent goes to the evil realms, the existent goes to the good realms, the one who fully knows everything as it is, liberation does not depend on the two." This means that if you cling to things as existing in the ultimate truth, you will not attain liberation. It also says: "As long as there is clinging to the aggregates, there is self-clinging to them, if there is self-clinging, then there is karma, and from that there is birth again." "The three paths have no beginning, end, or middle, the wheel of samsara is like a wheel of fire, like a wheel of fire, this with causes becomes samsara." "Since he does not see himself or others, and in the three times, therefore the self-clinging one is exhausted, and from that karma and birth are also destroyed." And in the Seventy Stanzas on Emptiness it says: "Whatever things arise from causes and conditions, whatever one truly thinks about, that is what the Teacher calls ignorance, from which the twelve branches arise." This means that if there is a clinging to the truth of the aggregates, then there will be an innate self-clinging to the person, and from that samsara arises, therefore, to abandon samsara, it is necessary to realize that the aggregates have no self-nature. Again, in the Ratnavali it says: "Form is also meaningless in reality, consciousness, feeling, perception, and formations, all are like that, because there is no real meaning separately, therefore there is no meaning in the ultimate meaning." and so on.

Thus, also as it is in reality, knowing beings are without meaning, like a fire without cause, without a place, without taking, it passes into nirvana. It is said that in order to attain the nirvana of abandoning samsara, one must realize that the five aggregates, which are the basis for attributing self, are empty of inherent existence. Thus, it is held that the attainment of enlightenment in all three vehicles requires a common understanding that the aggregates are unborn in truth. As it is said in the Ratnavali: 'The unborn is taught in the Great Vehicle, the exhaustion of others is emptiness. Exhaustion and non-arising are in meaning, one, therefore be patient.' And as it is praised in the Prajnaparamita: 'The Buddhas, the Pratyekabuddhas, and the Shravakas all rely on you. You alone are the path to liberation. Thus, it is certain that there are no others.' However, the difference in view between the Great and Small Vehicles is very great. Because it is held that seeing the Dharmadhatu spoken of in the Dharmadhatu Praise is seeing the Tathagatagarbha. And in the Collection of Praises: 'Without realizing the signless, you say there is no liberation. Therefore, in the Great Vehicle, it is fully taught.' It is said that the Shravakas and Pratyekabuddhas do not fully realize the signless, but the Great Vehicle fully realizes it. And it is because the glorious Chandrakirti cites this as a means of knowing whether or not one has realized the selflessness of phenomena. Although I have not seen a clear explanation of the difference in view between the Shravakas and Pratyekabuddhas, it seems necessary to hold the difference in view as explained in the Abhisamayalankara. Because that is the meaning of the Prajnaparamita Sutra, and in the commentary on the Madhyamakavatara, when explaining the intention of the teacher, it is also said that they are superior to the Shravakas by the difference of increasing merit and wisdom, and inferior to the perfectly complete Buddhas by the lack of merit, accumulation of wisdom, great compassion, all-knowing, etc., therefore they are intermediate. Thus, as it is said in the Abhisamayalankara, the wisdom of the Shravakas is superior, but inferior to the Great Vehicle. Thirdly, in the commentary on the Madhyamakavatara, the Shravakas and Pratyekabuddhas realize that phenomena are without inherent existence, based on the scriptural authority of the Dasabhumika Sutra and the two types of reasoning.
