Rir. The master Buddha Jñānapāda said that the key point of establishing omniscience on the seventh bhūmi is this very point. Because below the seventh bhūmi, there is a difference between having or not having conceptualization, there are two, near and far. The intention of the sutras and the Abhisamayālaṅkāra is also this. In the Abhisamayālaṅkāra: "Far due to non-means." This means, Bhagavan, if a son or daughter of a bodhisattva lineage, unskilled in means, knows this Prajñāpāramitā in a way that focuses on it, then they will abandon this Prajñāpāramitā and make it distant. This is what was said. Considering the past and future lives, these are two sentences. What is non-means? The answer is: It is from the gate of focusing on characteristics. It is said that even Rāhulabhadra is attached to names, and even Rāhulabhadra is attached to characteristics. Why is that? Rāhulabhadra, all dharmas are without characteristics and without names. This is what was said. It is said. If it is said that here it is said that it is based on the bodhisattva being unskilled in means, so it is not appropriate to apply it to the noble bodhisattva, then that is not understanding the meaning of the occasion. Here, it is said that it is unskilled in means from the gate of focusing on characteristics, and that is only present below the seventh bhūmi. In the context of dedicating the path of meditation, it is gathered: "If there is a characteristic, it is not dedication, if there is no characteristic, it is dedication to enlightenment." Therefore, the difference between near and far must also be understood from the perspective of opposing and supporting factors. Therefore, here the opposing factor is the conceptualization in the bodhisattva's continuum, and the supporting factor is the wisdom that realizes the absence of characteristics in the bodhisattva's continuum. Conceptualization that focuses on a merely imputed person, and its antidote; conceptualization that focuses on a merely imputed dharma, and its antidote, these two are four. The first is: From the perception of thinking "I" who practices emptiness of the aggregates such as form, to the perception of thinking "I" who practices the aspects of enlightenment, this is conceptualization that focuses on a merely imputed person, so it is the opposing factor of the bodhisattva. The emptiness of aggregates such as form.

As indicated by one verse, and so on. Secondly, the wisdom of realizing the absence of characteristics, which refutes the mere imputation of self-grasping, can prevent the extreme of attachment in one's own mindstream if cultivated by oneself, and can prevent the extreme of attachment in others' mindstreams if taught to others, thus it is an antidote. That is, "There is no self-grasping in giving, etc." As indicated by three verses, and so on. Thirdly, the Victorious One is the result, and so on, summarizing the basis and the path. The mind that clings to the basis as an object, the mind that clings to the path as something to be practiced, and the mind that clings to the result as something to be attained are subtle attachments, thus they are opposing factors. That is, "Attachment to the Victorious One, etc., is subtle." as indicated. The proof that these are opposing factors is, "The path of Dharma is naturally secluded, therefore it is profound." as indicated. Fourthly, knowing the three, basis, path, and result, to be of one nature enables one to abandon the mind that clings to each of the three, basis, path, and result, as such. That is, "Knowing all dharmas to be of one nature abandons attachment." as indicated. How is it that they are of one nature? That is, it is difficult to realize and inconceivable, as in, "By preventing seeing, etc." and so on, and "Because one does not know form, etc." and so on, as indicated. The noble Bodhisattva's post-attainment, the mere imputation of a person and the clinging to characteristics that focuses on dharmas are opposing factors, and the wisdom of realizing the absence of characteristics that does not focus on these two is an antidote, which is the order of abandonment and antidote in this third section on explaining the basis of wisdom. To summarize the meaning, "Thus, in the system of omniscience." as indicated by one verse, and so on. The opposing factor taught here is not the basis of wisdom of the Lesser Vehicle, but the clinging to characteristics in the mindstream of a Bodhisattva, which is the intention of the sutra, as in, "Form, etc., aggregates are emptiness." In this regard, if an unskilled Bodhisattva conceives of form as being empty, and so on, and "Kausika, a son or daughter of the lineage of the Bodhisattva Vehicle conceives in their mind." and so on, and "Attachment to the Victorious One, etc., is subtle." In this regard, Subhuti, this Bodhisattva conceives of the Tathagata as a sign in their mind.
