I will establish the distinctions of Dharma-kṣānti and Dharma-jñāna, etc., for the four noble truths that are not like that, and will be explained in detail below. Although the sixteen moments of the Śrāvakayāna's path of seeing are the same in realizing the unborn, the ability to induce certainty in the sixteen aspects such as impermanence is obtained sequentially in the state of Samāhita, so it seems necessary to also consider the tradition of this treatise as establishing the distinctions of Dharma-kṣānti, etc., for suffering. Because the Mahāyāna's path of seeing, from the aspect of sequentially inducing certainty in the sixteen aspects of non-elaboration such as permanence and impermanence, seems to be established as sixteen moments of Jñāna-kṣānti. Combining the sixteen aspects such as impermanence and the sixteen moments of Jñāna-kṣānti is not seen in other treatises. Fifth, thus, from the sixteen moments, the first moment, the Dharma-kṣānti of suffering alone, is the uninterrupted path that simultaneously eliminates all that is to be abandoned by seeing. Although sixteen moments were explained in the previous sections, at the time of the peak application, it is from the perspective of the uninterrupted path of abandoning what is to be abandoned by seeing. "One moment of forbearance, is included here as the path of seeing." It is said, and in its commentary, both Ārya and Siṃha said that when Dharma-kṣānti arises for suffering, all afflictive obscurations and cognitive obscurations to be abandoned by seeing have already been abandoned. As it says in the Nirbhāsa, "That is also when the forbearance of the path of seeing arises, the one hundred and twelve afflictions to be abandoned by seeing, included in the desire, form, and formless realms, those included in the four discriminations will be abandoned." And in the small commentary on its meaning, it says that when it arises, it is said by the divisions of the desire, form, and formless realms. The intention of the great commentary is also this, because it is in relation to the direct realization of the result, and the meaning of one moment is explained as doing the work simultaneously on the four noble truths. It is also established by reasoning, the Bodhisattva's path of seeing, the Dharma-kṣānti of suffering, because it simultaneously sees all the dharmatā of the four noble truths, it is established that it simultaneously abandons what is to be abandoned by seeing. For that reason, all the subsequent fifteen moments are established as the path of liberation.

That is, because it is free from the defilements of the share of the uninterrupted path, and because it is the continuum of equipoise that has no difference in object and aspect from that uninterrupted path. Sixth, the four accumulations of antidotes to be abandoned by seeing, which are mentioned in the first chapter, and the four peaks of the path of seeing, which are mentioned in the fifth chapter, have the same meaning, and are placed only on the uninterrupted path, because they are only divided into four from the aspect of the antidote to abandoning the four to be abandoned by seeing, but their essence is the same. By this reasoning, the four accumulations of antidotes to be abandoned by meditation and the four peaks of the path of meditation should also be understood as being divided into four each from the second to the tenth bhumis, on each uninterrupted path, from the side of reversal. All sixteen moments mentioned in the second, third, and fourth chapters are only differences in drawing out the ascertainment of the post-meditation state, which are differences in object and aspect. Because the ability to draw them out is obtained in a sequential order of sixteen moments, the differences in what is knowable are placed in equipoise. To illustrate with one example, the first moment of the bodhisattva's path of seeing equipoise is the dharma, the suffering dharma patience mentioned in the second chapter, because it is the equipoise that draws out the determination that the tathagatagarbha and the buddhas do not acknowledge existing by different names. Similarly, the suffering dharma patience mentioned in the third chapter, because it is the equipoise that draws out the determination of the truth of suffering, the pacification of the elaboration of permanence and impermanence. The suffering dharma patience mentioned in the chapter on non-retrogression, because it is the equipoise that draws out the determination of the special behavior of the post-meditation body and speech that reverses the perception of form, etc. The suffering dharma patience mentioned in the chapter on the difference of qualities, because it is the equipoise that draws out the determination of the inconceivable dharmadhatu. Similarly, for each of the sixteen moments, holding them as dharmas one by one, the way of drawing out the aspects of qualities should be arranged without confusion. If this is done, then in the stage of the eighth moment in the second chapter, it is said that one must meditate on the four immeasurables, such as love.
