If there is no intention to go, one will remain in the same place, or it will be established by experiencing the return. Before the act of going is completed, merely having the intention to go is like merely having the mind of aspiration. This is also the view of the two Noble Lions (Asanga and Vasubandhu). The goal of Bodhi in the context of the phrase "generating the mind is for the benefit of others" by the Noble One (Asanga) is, in short, established on the aspiration-filled mind generation. The teacher (Vasubandhu), on the other hand, explains the mind generation in the context of "generating the mind is for the benefit of others" as two types: aspiration and engagement. Furthermore, he divides it into twenty-two categories through examples, with the lowest limit set at the Mahayana path of accumulation. If this is the case, then the last three mind generations will be encompassed by both aspiration and engagement. If one also thinks so, it contradicts the establishment at the Buddha-ground. If someone asks: Then, the teacher establishes the boundary of the initial mind generation of the seventy topics, the wisdom with twenty emptinesses as its object during the accumulation of merit in the middle, and the final activity, from the Mahayana path of accumulation to the Buddha-ground, because he considers that the boundaries of other meanings can also be easily understood, so he establishes it at the Buddha-ground, but it is not that these three are absent in the continuum of a Bodhisattva. Because in the Prajnaparamita Sutra and the Ornament of the Sutras, all twenty-two mind generations are established in the continuum of a Bodhisattva, and the cloud-like mind generation is established in the tenth Bhumi, the Dharma Cloud, which is the meaning of the context. At the beginning of entering the Mahayana path, there is only the mind of aspiration and engagement, and the arising of the nature of the aspiration and engagement mind generation that has become its result, and entering the Mahayana path are simultaneous, which is also the view of the two Noble Lions. Because the name "wanting" is given to the Mahayana mind generation, it is considered that the name of the cause is established on the result. If it is not simultaneous in this way, then the name of the cause should not be established on the result. The third view is that nowadays, most people regard the two, aspiration and engagement, as divisions of conventional mind generation, believing that conventional mind generation encompasses these two, and that these two and ultimate mind generation have no common basis. This is unreasonable, because mind.

All the generation of Bodhicitta in the continuum of a Bodhisattva, as explained from the time of "arising is for the sake of others," is summarized by aspiration and engagement, and that treatise explains the general characteristics of the Mahayana Bodhicitta, not just the characteristics of the conventional Bodhicitta. Therefore, the two Bodhicittas of aspiration and engagement also summarize all twenty-two Bodhicittas in the continuum of a Bodhisattva, and the ultimate Bodhicitta is also summarized by the twenty-two Bodhicittas. Therefore, besides the Bodhicitta that possesses the six perfections, there is no other noble Bodhisattva's Bodhicitta. This is also the view of Asanga. In the chapter on ethics in the Bodhisattva Grounds, the three ethics of abandoning misdeeds, gathering virtuous dharmas, and benefiting sentient beings are said to be engagement Bodhicitta. And the ultimate Bodhicitta is also included in these three, because it is included in the ethics of gathering virtuous dharmas. The key meaning is this: the nature of the first ground's equipoise, as a retinue of the main mind, has five omnipresent mental factors, five object-determining mental factors, and eleven virtuous mental factors, for a total of twenty-one mental factors arising. The attention that is part of the five omnipresent mental factors, and the aspiration that is part of the five object-determining mental factors, by the power of becoming aspiration and engagement Bodhicitta, cause all the minds and mental factors that are concordant with it to become aspiration and engagement minds and mental factors, which has been said before. The samadhi and wisdom that are part of the five object-determining mental factors, by the power of becoming non-conceptual wisdom, cause all the minds and mental factors that are concordant with it to transform into ultimate Bodhicitta. Therefore, all the minds and mental factors included in the first ground's equipoise, from the aspect of wanting to attain complete enlightenment and being concordant with aspiration, are established as aspiration Bodhicitta; from the aspect of the intention to practice the path for the sake of enlightenment and being concordant with engagement, are established as engagement Bodhicitta; and from the aspect of being the nature of non-conceptual wisdom, are established as ultimate Bodhicitta, which is the unanimous view of all valid treatises. So, the conventional
