Accommodating aspects and expelling conflicts is accumulation; obtaining definite arising from non-accommodating aspects is the practice of definite arising, therefore both quantity and order are certain. Here, the minimum boundary of accumulation practice is established from the Great Dharma Peak, and the key to establishing definite arising practice from the eighth ground is also this. In the Compendium, it says that abandonment is divided into two, the antidote. The path of application is the act of actually abandoning what is to be abandoned, and the path of no interval is said to be that under which liberation will manifest, therefore the path of application is the Great Dharma Peak; the two, suffering and Dharma-tolerance, are similar in the act of actually abandoning what is to be abandoned by seeing, but the moment of Dharma-tolerance immediately manifests the path of liberation, and from the eighth ground onwards, the conceptualizations to be cultivated are abandoned in such a way that they no longer arise, so before that, it is the path of difference that depends on the two conceptualizations. Considering this, the teacher's commentary often says that the three pure grounds are the path of difference. The second is, in the Smaller Commentary, it says that because these, such as compassion, hold the Great Bodhi with the nature of true practice, therefore great compassion and so on are said to be accumulation. The three bodies of the Buddha-ground are the Great Bodhi, and to practice it, it is categorized by intention, so it is armor; entering properly and truly with application is entering; the powerful collection of causal accumulations is accumulation practice; for the object to be practiced, definitely arising in a way that there is no interval even for a moment is the practice of definite arising. For this, the boundary is the same as before, so how is the power of causal accumulation complete from the Great Dharma Peak? Because seeing the Dharmakaya of self-nature purity directly is no different from the equipoise of the eleventh ground, it is considered to have the ability to actually generate it. From the eighth ground onwards, the way of definitely arising for the object to be practiced without interruption even for a moment is the meaning of definitely arising in the Buddha-ground without interruption in the way of grasping at characteristics. Both of these systems are in accordance with the intention of the root text of the treatise, and the key to the meaning also seems to be the same, because it is for practicing the three great important things, namely what is to be abandoned by seeing and what is to be abandoned by cultivation.

Because both must be abandoned. Fourth, regarding the individual meanings, there are four points, the first of which is the accomplishment of armor: "Those each give, etc." Here, six collections are identified, the way the six collected become six groups, and the way it transforms into armor. Among these, the first is the six ways from the accomplishment of the armor of generosity to the accomplishment of the armor of wisdom. The second is, for example, taking the Dharma giving as an example, the Dharma giving itself is the generosity of generosity; at that time, abandoning the attention of the hearers, etc., is the discipline of generosity; at that time, enduring the unpleasant words of all beings is patience; at that time, generating desire is the diligence of generosity; at that time, the one-pointed mind that is not mixed with other vehicles is the meditation of generosity; at that time, dedicating to the unsurpassed perfect enlightenment is the wisdom of generosity, which is the six armors of generosity. Similarly, for things like the discipline of abandoning harm to others, it is also combined in six ways, from discipline to wisdom, each one is combined with six. In the Abhisamayalankara it says: The first two are similar, for the Dharma patience of all-knowingness and, the close consideration of desire is patience, dedicating the root of virtue to unsurpassed perfect enlightenment is diligence, the one-pointed mind that is not mixed with other vehicles dedicating the root of virtue to enlightenment is meditation, abiding in the illusion-like awareness, not clinging to the giver, the giving, and the receiver is said to be wisdom. So, what is the difference between the collecting generosity and the collected generosity? The part that is merely established as generosity is the collection, and an example like Dharma giving is the collected. How is the armor accomplishment established as six? Here there are two ways, one is to establish the six generosity of the six paramitas as being in accordance with generosity, and the other is to establish the six collected of generosity as being in accordance with generosity, the latter is more reasonable. Here, the six armors of the collection itself are established as the armor accomplishment, and when each of them is further divided into six, it becomes thirty-six, which is the meaning of the present.
