In my perception, all environments and beings appear as purely limitless, which is the ultimate power of pure land combination. Although there are practitioners below the seventh bhumi who harmonize these three, the continuous practice of these three in the post-meditation state is established from the eighth bhumi onwards. Based on the statement that "they do not directly realize the true limit," the true limit is the suchness that prevents all elaborations. In the commentary on the "Entering the Middle Way," it says, "Entering cessation is entering the true limit, therefore suchness is called cessation, because all elaborations cease here." Also, in the "Distinguishing the Middle from the Extremes," it says, "Emptiness, in brief, is suchness, and the true limit, signlessness, ultimate reality, and the realm of phenomena are different names." Therefore, merely understanding it is not established as direct realization, because in the stages of accumulation and preparation, there is an understanding of that meaning in a general way, and although there is direct realization in the samadhi of the ten bhumis, it is not prevented. Merely entering into samadhi is also not established as direct realization, because when abandoning the coarse obstacles in the pure lands, it is also necessary to enter into samadhi. As the "Ten Bhumi Sutra" says, "Son of lineage! To realize the dharmas of the Buddhas, this is also ultimate forbearance." Therefore, if asked, how is it? The measure of direct realization without performing the three dharmas is that although there is no need to abandon obstacles in the pure lands, due to prolonged samadhi, the benefit of sentient beings will be interrupted during that time. Regarding this, the "Ten Bhumi Sutra" says, "At that time, one will attain nirvana." Its meaning is that the noble ones speak of a nirvana with intention, because the benefit of sentient beings is temporarily interrupted. The measure of direct realization after performing the three dharmas is that by perfectly accomplishing the three dharmas, the benefit of others is effortlessly and spontaneously achieved. Regarding this, it is constant samadhi, and the point is the same as the unmixed words that say, "There is no time when the mind is not in samadhi." May it benefit all those who are to be tamed who have accumulated merit. Third, the key point.
