In the presence of the venerable master, to put it briefly, it directly points out the attachment to persons as being real and imputed, thereby implying that one is also attached to dharmas as this and that. In the extensive explanation, it is said that the opposite is indicated, and when this explanation enters the mirror, it will attract the minds of the wise. The co-emergent is the conceptual thought to be abandoned by meditation in the context of "self-nature as it is, all-knowing," which is the same as the twelve, such as the attachment to characteristics described here, and therefore it may occur between the post-attainment of the seventh ground. Having done so, the noble ones have made the term dependent on sentient beings for the two grasping conceptualizations that have become objects to be abandoned by meditation, and dependent on the reason for the imputation, and both are considered to be imputed grasping conceptualizations, which is the intention of the root text. Second, the antidote to be abandoned is "knowing the three doors of liberation," and so on. Here, each antidote separately abandons each object to be abandoned, so the number of complete purifications is not mentioned separately. In the case of the sixth ground, the objects to be abandoned and the antidotes are not to be combined separately, so the number of complete purifications is mentioned separately. In the complete purification of the eighth ground, "knowing the minds of all sentient beings," and so on, the sutra says that a Bodhisattva abiding on the eighth ground should perfect the four dharmas for the sake of the complete attainment of the Dharmakaya. What are the four? That is, one should understand the minds of all sentient beings, and so on. Furthermore, perfecting the four dharmas, thus making two sets of four separately, whichever it may be, is for the purpose of knowing that it is the complete purification of that ground. As stated in the Abhisamayalankara. Dividing the purification of the Buddha-field into two, the former is the purification of the vessel-world and the latter is the purification of the sentient-world, and this and the explanation of the purification of the vessel and sentient worlds separately at the time of purifying the field is the same key point, so the purification of the Buddha-field, which is among the three of completion, maturation, and purification, is at least the meaning of establishing from the eighth ground, which is in terms of actually accomplishing the Buddha-field, while in the case of the third ground, the explanation of purifying the Buddha-field refers to wanting to accomplish a pure land.

It is merely an increase in auspicious qualities. Having done so, since the purification of the vessel and sentient realms appears separately in the form of two sets of four lines, neither one can become the complete purification of the eighth ground. Both are necessary, and the reason for dividing them into two is that the former is common with the seventh ground, and the latter appears to be common with the ninth ground. This can be understood through analysis. The complete purification of the ninth ground is: "May the aspirations be pure and limitless," etc. This contains twelve aspects, which are condensed into five meanings: the cause of all perfections, the cause of teaching the Dharma, the perfect master, the perfect enjoyment, and the perfect result. The first is limitless aspirations. The second is understanding various languages, that is, knowing the languages of gods, etc., and having unobstructed eloquence that is inexhaustible like a flowing river. The third includes purity of body and holding to the side of purity. The former includes six aspects such as excellent entry into the womb. The latter is being urged by the Buddhas, etc., to definitely renounce. Perfect enjoyment is the Bodhi trees, etc. The perfect result is qualities, and "perfect" is applied as an embellishment to everything. Here, limitless aspirations, according to the order of increasing perfections, are suitable for the eighth ground. Excellent entry into the womb, etc., are suitable for the bodhisattvas of the tenth ground. If one wonders how they are suitable for the ninth ground, there is no fault, because the former is considered in terms of being common with the eighth ground, and the latter is considered in terms of being common with the tenth ground, while the second and third are the unique aspects of the ninth ground. The key to doing so is that as long as the complete purification of the previous ground is not completed, it remains the previous ground, and after it is completely attained, it is transferred to the subsequent ground. Therefore, it can be understood through careful analysis that all complete purifications are also like this. Second, the tenth ground is explained from the perspective of the result: "Having passed the ninth ground is wisdom," etc. The sutra says: Having completely transcended the ground of lineage, the eighth ground, the ground of seeing, the ground of attenuation, the ground of detachment from desire, the ground of having realized what has been done, the ground of the hearers, the ground of the solitary Buddhas, and the ground of the bodhisattvas. Subhuti, thus the great bodhisattva, having transcended the nine grounds...
