First, putting on armor; then, engaging in battle for the sake of the army; then, gathering all the troops; then, fighting against the opposing forces and defeating them, just as there are four victories. Here, in order to abandon those two to-be-abandoned things, putting on armor with intention is armor; entering properly and truthfully with action is engagement; gathering the army of antidotes and fighting against the opposing forces is gathering; obtaining definite liberation from the opposing forces is the practice of liberation, so both the number and the order are definite. Here, the lowest limit for accumulating merit is established from the Great Dharma Peak, and the key point of establishing the practice of liberation from the eighth ground is also this. In the Compendium, it says that the path of application, which divides abandonment and antidote into two, is the action of actually abandoning the things to be abandoned, while the path of no interruption is said to be that under which liberation will be manifested. Therefore, the highest Dharma of the path of application and the two, forbearance of Dharma and knowledge of Dharma, in suffering are similar in that they actually perform the act of abandoning what is to be abandoned on the path of seeing, but the moment of forbearance of Dharma will manifest the path of liberation, and from the eighth ground onwards, the conceptual thoughts to be abandoned on the path of cultivation are abandoned in such a way that they will not arise again, so before that, it is a special path that depends on the two conceptual thoughts. Considering this, the teacher's commentary often says that the three pure grounds are special paths. The second point is that in the "Small Commentary," it says that because these, such as compassion, hold the great Bodhi with the nature of truly accomplishing it, therefore, great compassion and so on are accumulations. The three bodies of the Buddha ground are the great Bodhi, and to practice it, putting on armor with intention is armor; entering properly and truthfully with action is engagement; the gathering of the powerful force of causal accumulations is the accumulation of merit; and the definite liberation from it in a way that is uninterrupted even for a moment is the practice of liberation. For this, the division of grounds is the same as before, so how is the power of causal accumulations complete from the Great Dharma Peak? Because the Dharmakaya of self-nature purity is directly seen, there is no difference from the equipoise of the eleventh ground, so it has the power to actually generate it.

Homage! From the eighth bhumi onwards, without a moment's interruption, one will definitely appear in the state to be realized, the way is, grasping at characteristics and without a moment's interruption, one will definitely appear in the state of Buddhahood. Both of these methods are in accordance with the intention of the root text, and the key to the meaning also seems to be the same, because in order to accomplish the three great deeds, it is necessary to abandon both the afflictions to be abandoned by seeing and the afflictions to be abandoned by meditation. Fourth, regarding the individual meanings, the first of the four is the accomplishment of armor: "Those individually giving and so on." Here, there are three aspects: identifying the six collections, how the six collected transform into six groups, and how they transform into armor. The first is the six aspects from the accomplishment of the armor of giving to the accomplishment of the armor of wisdom. The second is, for example, taking the Dharma giving of the four names as an example, the Dharma giving itself is the giving of giving; at that time, abandoning the attention of the Hearers and so on is the discipline of giving; at that time, enduring the unpleasant words spoken by all beings is patience; at that time, generating desire is the diligence of giving; at that time, the single-pointed mind that is not mixed with other vehicles is the meditation of giving; at that time, dedicating to the unexcelled perfect enlightenment is the wisdom of giving, which is the six armors of giving. Similarly, for the discipline of abandoning harm to others, from combining six to wisdom, each one should be combined with six. In the Two Manifestations it says: "The first two are similar, for the Dharma of the all-knowing, patience and, desire and approaching realization is patience; dedicating that root of virtue to the unexcelled perfect enlightenment is diligence; the single-pointed mind that is not mixed with other vehicles, dedicating that root of virtue to enlightenment is meditation; abiding closely with the perception of illusion, not fixating on the object of giving, the giver, and the receiver is wisdom." Then, one might wonder, what is the difference between the giving of collection and the giving of being collected? The part that is merely established as giving is the collection, while the Dharma giving of the four names is the being collected. One might wonder, how is the way of establishing the six armors? To this,
