It is said, "Like all that is distinguished by the divisions of the eight stages of the nature of practicing earth speech, etc." And in the Commentary, it says, "Having well established the practice of cultivating the mind of enlightenment and generosity, etc." Then, if it is said that "the mind of enlightenment" is shown as the first of the ten dharmas of generating the mind, is this contradictory? It is not that that treatise shows the generation of the mind as the first of the ten practices of dharma, but the teacher thought that the ten practices of dharma did not include the intention, so in order to include the intention, the intention, the generation of the mind, was added. However, when the ten practices of dharma summarize the meaning of the sutras, the intention, the generation of the mind, is also included in the ten practices of dharma, so it is not necessary to think that the intention is not included. Why are the ten perfections established as the ten practices of dharma? The teacher Vasubandhu said, "Dharma is knowable, the path, nirvana and the realm of mind, scriptures, life and merit, future, definite and dharma." It is said that it applies to ten meanings, but here it applies to the path. Its practice is the ten perfections, which is the same meaning as the above "path", and the key is here. Second, why is it said that the meaning of the sutras is summarized by the ten perfections such as generosity? In the case of the three wisdoms, these ten perfections are also shown from the perspective of being determined by hearing and thinking. In the case of the four applications, these ten are also shown from the perspective of practice. In the case of the dharmakaya, these ten are also shown from the perspective of the result. In this way, the latter four perfections are included in the perfection of wisdom. Therefore, the six perfections of the bodhisattva are called "practice", and in the case of the three wisdoms, it is explained as a common practice, and in the case of the four applications, it is explained as a special practice, which is also in accordance with the treatise. Third, if it is thought that the essence of the teachings should be established at least from the first bhumi, what is the reason? Because in the state of ordinary beings, without relying on the teachings, it is impossible to easily understand the meaning of the sutras, so the meaning of the sutras that is understood by relying on the teachings, in the state of accumulation and application, by the power of meditation, the nature of reality is manifested in the first bhumi.

When that happens, one does not need to rely on treatises, but can directly see the meaning of the sutras oneself, and therefore be able to freely interpret the intent of the Buddha's words. For example, like the noble Nagarjuna. With this in mind, (the text says:) "Whoever speaks with a mind controlled by the sole teachings of the Victorious One, without distraction, and is in accordance with the path to liberation, that too should be accepted with the crown of the head, like the words of a sage." In short, these two verses with necessary connections, relying on the expresser, the Ornament of Clear Realization, show the order of entering into the expressed necessity, the essential necessity, and the most essential necessity in this way: In the state of an ordinary being, by hearing and thinking about the Ornament of Clear Realization, even though the meaning of the Prajnaparamita Sutra is essentially the ten practices, it is taught in eight ways, and one can realize it in a general way. When that meaning is practiced in the stage of the accumulation path, the ten perfections will be manifested on the first ground. Then, it is shown that one can enter into the meaning of the sutras oneself without relying on treatises for the remaining paths, which is the intent of all the scriptures. Those who cannot comprehend this measure others' minds with their own thoughts, like a frog in a well. Third, regarding the explanation of the subject matter of the treatise, the Clear Realizations: the extensive is divided into eight faiths, the intermediate is shown as six faiths, and the concise is summarized into three faiths. Among these three, the first is the condensed meaning, the body classification, and the extensive explanation of the word meaning branches. Among the two, according to "explaining the condensed meaning, the body classification" or explaining with the five key instructions of the method of explanation, because the necessity has already been explained earlier, the explanation of the condensed meaning is: "The Perfection of Wisdom is," etc., fifteen verses. The result summarized by the last two methods of explaining the offering praise, the Prajna, is explained through the eight clear realizations of the path to be attained. The path summarized by the first method of explanation, the Prajna, is explained through the eight clear realizations of the conditions of sentient beings. Incidentally, from "What did the Teacher explain from this?" it is also obtained that "the treatise Prajna is explained through the eight clear realizations of the subject matter." Thus, among these three, the first is the nature of Prajna, and the latter two are imputed.
