Everything manifests in a single instant. When one type of fruition-born uncontaminated realization manifests, all uncontaminated realization types of the same kind manifest in a single instant. With these two wisdoms, the way of understanding knowable objects is to realize that all phenomena are without characteristics, and from the reversal of realizing that the apprehended and the apprehender are non-dual, the sequence of the four instantaneous practices is established. Among them, the first is like "Giving and so on, each one also." Its example is also like "As a man's water wheel turns in succession." The second is like "When all white dharmas." The third is like "The practice of giving and so on." The fourth is like "Dreams and the seeing of that nature." Thus it is taught. So, what is the uncontaminated realization that is not fruition-born? What is the uncontaminated realization that is fruition-born? What is the example of how, when one of these two types of realization manifests, all similar types manifest? Answer: The uncontaminated qualities of the seven impure grounds are called non-fruition-born. Just as the Abhidharma masters believe that the qualities arising from effort require reliance on effort in this life, so too, this is the same, because it is obstructed by clinging to characteristics, it requires reliance on effort. The uncontaminated qualities of the pure grounds are called fruition-born. Just as the Abhidharma masters believe that the fruit of fruition is accomplished without effort in this life due to previous karma and afflictions, so too, here, because one has obtained mastery over non-conceptual wisdom, it does not require reliance on effort. The lineage of these two qualities exists in the state of the ultimate limit, and is established as the type of realization of these two. The example can be understood from what has been said before. By this reason, it is also established that the gradual progression of the six perfections exists from the first ground. The types of realization to be cultivated by the gradual practice, which manifest in the state of instantaneous practice, the dharmas that manifest there are the uncontaminated realization types that are not fruition-born, and the uncontaminated realization types that are fruition-born.
