Considering this, the Mother Sutra says that just as sixty-two views are contained in the view of the aggregates, similarly, everything is contained in the Paramita. Thus it is said. Second, to condense these views into fourteen, including: the essence, the classification, to whom it belongs, the reason for assigning names such as "movement," the way of entering the object, what it depends on to arise, the reason for being placed in the unexpressed, identifying the past and future ends, and what it is based on to make distinctions, and nine aspects. First, the essence of the unexpressed view is: the wisdom contained in the inverted mind and its corresponding objects. Second, the classification is: as stated in the Root Verses on the Middle Way, holding various views on the past, future, etc., and on permanence, etc. "Nirvana and the future, and the past are the basis." Thus, the four views about the self and the world being permanent, impermanent, both, and neither, depend on the past; the four views about the self and the world being finite, infinite, both, and neither, depend on the future; the four views about the Tathagata existing after death, not existing, both, and neither, depend on Nirvana; and the two views that the body and life are one, and the body and life are different, depend on the body and life, totaling fourteen. Third, to whom it belongs: holding to the extreme of permanence, etc., the three views that believe in existence after death are the views of the Samkhyas, called "movement"; the next three views are the views of the Lokayatas, called "gathering"; the next three views are the views of the naked ascetics, called "scattering"; the next three views are the views of the mother and child, called "contraction"; the view that the body and life are one is the view of the Vaisheshikas, etc. Although it is said that the body and life are different, the view that the body is not life and life is not the body is the view of the Samkhyas, etc. Fourth, the reason for assigning names such as "movement" is: the Samkhyas believe in impermanence that is close to decay, and believe that when sentient beings die, they temporarily remain in a state of disappearance, like the sun setting or a stake being driven in, or they believe that they exist but are in an invisible state, therefore their view is called "movement." The Lokayatas believe that there is no past or future life, and all suffering and happiness, good and bad, end in this life, therefore their view is called "gathering."

It is named "Expansion." The naked heretics, like a snake and the coils of a snake, believe that self-nature is permanent and temporary is impermanent, etc., relying on self-nature and temporality and considering them as two, so their view is called "Expansion." The Sthavira Nikāya believe that nothing such as permanence and impermanence can be said, so their view is called "Contraction." Fifth, the way to enter the object is that the views of shaking, expansion, and the unity of body and life enter from the perspective of establishing the object; the views of gathering, contraction, and the otherness of body and life enter from the perspective of refuting the object. Sixth, what does it depend on to arise? It depends on the five aggregates that are the basis of confusion. Seventh, the reason for placing it as unrecorded is that the Samkhya and others start from the perspective of the self of a person and ask the Tathagata whether the world has an end or is endless, etc. Considering that they cannot be subdued, they did not answer, so it was placed as unrecorded. As it is said in the Ratnavali: "Whether the world has an end, having asked, the Victorious One remained silent, why is such a profound Dharma, not spoken to sentient beings who are not vessels, therefore, the wise should know that, the all-knowing knows everything." The reason for not answering is that the Abhidharmakośa says: "One-sided record and distinction, questioning and placing record, death, birth, and difference in merit, self and non-self are like this." It said four ways of answering questions, and the last one is that. Eighth, the identification of the previous and later limits, etc., is that the aggregates of the previous life are the previous limit, and the aggregates of the later life are the later limit. Nirvana is the past. A person is the self. The five aggregates are the world. Therefore, the world together with the self is permanent or impermanent, has an end or is endless, etc. Life is the self and the body is the world, so it is established from the perspective of considering it as one or other, similar to the previous definition. Ninth, what is the distinction made in consideration of? It is divided into fourteen types in consideration of the thoughts of the near-dwelling people who are to be tamed and who have the view of self mentioned above, but things are countless. So, what is the difference between the sixty-two views and the fourteen types? Before the Tathagata turned the wheel of Dharma in Jambudvipa, the outsiders
