It is the antidote to the obscuration of knowledge. Meditating as per the number, it is the nature of the path of seeing with contaminated dharmas, and the other is the dharma with five and six characteristics. Sherjung Lodro said that the first is common to both Shravakas and Pratyekabuddhas, and the second and third clearly explain the path of meditation and the path of seeing of the Pratyekabuddhas. In the condensed meaning of the Abhisamayalankara, it says: The meaning is this, Shravakas and Pratyekabuddhas, because the obscuration of afflictions is the same object to be abandoned, abiding in the truth of suffering etc., the sixteen aspects of impermanence etc., and selflessness etc. are completely the same. Pratyekabuddhas, because they are uncommon, are the nature of the antidote to the obscuration of knowledge, the contaminated path of meditation, and relying on the path of seeing etc. Dharma Friend said that the first is both the path of seeing and the path of meditation of the Shravakas, and the second and third are explained as the path of meditation of the Pratyekabuddhas. In the Clear Words, it says: In the chapter on omniscience, mentioning the sixteen aspects of the Shravakas is the characteristic of their path of seeing and path of meditation. Mentioning the fifteen aspects of the Pratyekabuddhas is the characteristic of their path of meditation. Serlingpa said that the first is the Shravaka, the second and third are the Pratyekabuddha, but there is no distinction of the path. The twenty-seven that exist in the Bodhisattva's continuum, what exists in the continuum of ordinary beings is realized in the manner of the general meaning of non-existence etc., but not realized directly, so it is not the actual aspect of the base knowledge. However, for the previous path of seeing of the Hinayana, a distinction must be made. What exists in the continuum of the noble Bodhisattva is the aspect of the base knowledge, because it is directly realized without focusing on non-existence etc. Second, the detailed explanation of the aspects of the path knowledge is: cause and path and suffering etc. This is one verse. Its meaning is that what was previously determined in detail through hearing and thinking in the chapter on path knowledge, if summarized, is contained in the thirty-six aspects of detachment etc. In this way, these thirty-six that exist in the continuum of ordinary Bodhisattvas are realized in the manner of the general meaning of detachment etc., but not
