It is the object of rejoicing. The rejoicer is the mind hero who abides in the supreme Dharma. Secondly, the rejoicing that has become the nature of the supreme Dharma is embraced by the accumulation of merit attained after, while samadhi is embraced by the accumulation of wisdom of equipoise. As it is said in the sutra: The accumulation of merit directly shows that merit is abundant, so the accumulation of wisdom indirectly shows that merit is abundant. The meaning of "other means" in the Great Commentary is this. Thirdly, the four continents and the first thousand worlds, the second thousand worlds, and the third thousand worlds show the four Bodhisattvas, and show the rejoicing embraced by the merit attained after their weight. As it is said in the sutra: Only the weight of earth and stones is mentioned. The hidden meaning is that samadhi is shown by the number of water drops, because it is the same as equipoise. At the time of "entering and returning," the hundred thousand verses say: The entering grasped conceptualization and the returning grasped conceptualization mentioned here are both included in the pure grasped conceptualization mentioned in the first chapter, because the object of entering of the entering grasped conceptualization is the path and fruit of the Bodhisattva, and the object of returning of the returning grasped conceptualization is the path and fruit of the Hearer, those are all included in the pure Dharma. Then, the returning grasped conceptualization mentioned here should be the conceptual mind that clings to the object as appearing to be taken, because it is the pure grasped conceptualization. If you admit it, then it should not be, because it is clinging to the object as appearing to be abandoned, because it is the returning grasped conceptualization. Also, the conceptualization of the obscuration of knowledge to be abandoned by seeing that is not included in the four kinds of grasping and grasping conceptualizations mentioned here should exist, because if what is mentioned here is the grasped conceptualization, then it pervades the pure grasped conceptualization mentioned in the first chapter. If you admit it, then the seed of the obscuration of knowledge belonging to the obscuration to be abandoned by seeing that is not included in the seeds of the four kinds of grasping and grasping conceptualizations mentioned here should exist, because you admit that. If you admit it, then if you abandon the seeds of the four kinds of grasping and grasping conceptualizations mentioned here, then abandoning the seeds of the obscuration of knowledge to be abandoned by seeing is not pervasive. Also, if it is the conceptualization of the obscuration of knowledge that focuses on purification, then it is pure grasping.
