Therefore, the self-system is that the realization of dedicating the three wisdoms of the Bodhisattva's continuum abiding in patience to complete perfection is the stability of self-benefit realization, and the compassion of not completely abandoning the affairs of sentient beings in that continuum is the stability of other-benefit activities, because these two stabilities are spoken of in the sutras in the form of dedication. There are also two types, the first is, may the Buddha's Dharma be completely perfected, and similarly may all wisdom, self-arising and uncontaminated Dharma be completely perfected, this is the first sentence showing in general, and the following three sentences in order are, may all wisdom, path wisdom and base wisdom Dharma be completely dedicated. The second is, may I transcend and all sentient beings who have not been liberated be liberated. In the chapter of "the four continents and the pure thousand," regarding the supreme combination of the supreme Dharma, the way it is spoken in the sutras, the way it is shown in the treatises, and the analysis of the meaning of these, there are three types, the first is, in the Compendium it says: "Those who enter the supreme non-returning Bodhi, rejoice with pure thought in the mind generation, three thousand Sumerus can be measured by weight, the merit of rejoicing is not like that." Here it says that the root of virtue collected by the mind generation of the Bodhisattva who enters the supreme non-returning Bodhi is the object of rejoicing, and the rejoicing that becomes the nature of the supreme Dharma is shown as the rejoicer. Therefore, it shows that the weight of the earth and stones of the four continents and the first thousand, the second thousand, and the third thousand, the merit of rejoicing is more. The second is, the example directly shown in the sutras is, "The four continents and the pure thousand, the pure thousand two and three are made into metaphors." This is how it is shown. The meaning is that rejoicing is not directly shown here, but the hidden meaning of the sutra, Samadhi, is directly shown here, which is "By the very nature of abundant merit, Samadhi is completely proclaimed." This is how it is shown. Third, the teacher's view is that rejoicing and Samadhi, which become the nature of the supreme Dharma, have different meanings, because they are mental events and have different natures. However, because it shows that rejoicing has more merit, so Samadhi also

It can symbolize many merits. What are those two corresponding things? The commentary says that because the virtues of a friend are spoken of, the virtues of the other friend will also be spoken of. The great master 'bre said: The nature of the supreme Dharma is also rejoicing, and it is also samadhi. The Sutra shows from the opposite of rejoicing, and the treatise shows from the opposite of samadhi. For the first view, the two are not corresponding, because rejoicing is the accumulation of post-attainment merit, and samadhi is included in the accumulation of equipoise wisdom. Therefore, the teacher believes that rejoicing is the accumulation of merit, and samadhi is the accumulation of wisdom, so post-attainment and equipoise must be separated, because rejoicing is established in the post-attainment of the path of cultivation and has the same meaning. The commentary says that samadhi and the accumulation of wisdom are used as metaphors separately. That of 'bre is also unreasonable, and the samadhi and rejoicing that become the nature of the supreme Dharma are not one self-nature, because the two are different mental substances. Therefore, the meaning of these scriptures is to identify the Bodhisattva who has the root of virtue to be rejoiced in, and to observe the rejoicing and samadhi that become the nature of the supreme Dharma. There are three types of analogies between examples and Dharma. The first is in the "Eight Thousand Verses," it is directly said that the Bodhisattvas are newly entering the Great Vehicle, entering the practice, not regressing, and being bound by one life. Regarding the identification of this, the commentary says three views: Some think that they dwell on the antidote to the four realizations that are abandoned by the path of seeing and the path of cultivation, some think that they dwell on the four such as signs and growth, and some think that they dwell on faith practice, from the first to the seventh bhumi, dwell on the pure bhumi, and dwell on the tenth bhumi. The commentary says from the perspective of the realizers of the path of seeing and cultivation, they dwell on the first bhumi, from the second to the seventh bhumi, the eighth and ninth bhumi, and the tenth bhumi. But I wonder if the two are not their own views. In any case, the root of the four Bodhisattvas arising bodhicitta is
