In order to be able to destroy (wrong views). In order to establish the dharma of this school, four vows are stated in the Root Wisdom. Buddhapālita establishes it through the approach of consequence, and Legden 'byed (Bhāviveka) establishes it through the approach of autonomy. The first of these is: external and internal phenomena, subject. It does not arise from itself, because arising is meaningless, and it would lead to endless arising. Nor does it arise from another, because it would lead to everything arising from everything. Nor does it arise from both, because it would become the fault of both. Nor does it arise without a cause, because it would lead to everything always arising from everything, and making would become meaningless. The classifications of these are: consequence that states a contradiction of what is known to others, equality of reason, the proof is not established as the proven, and falling into the absence of an autonomous vow, these five. Among these, taking the negation of self-arising as an example, the consequence that is known to others is: the Samkhya school asserts that clay and pot are one in nature, for this, the pot at the time of clay, subject. It is meaningless to arise from a cause that is one in nature with oneself, because it is already established. Like a manifest pot, this is the consequence that is known to others, which negates based on the sign and example that the other party has accepted. The other party must produce an unmanifest pot, and does not need to produce a manifest pot, because it is already established, if it is said. The unmanifest pot, subject. It follows from this. Because of that, it is the equality of reason. It follows that it arises endlessly. Because what is already established also needs to arise. It follows that arising is meaningless. Because what is already established also needs to arise, this is the consequence that expresses a contradiction. If it is said that the pot at the time of clay needs to arise, because that exists in the nature of the cause. This is the proof that is not established like the proven. Falling into the absence of an autonomous vow is: with the realist, when arguing about whether it is truly established or not, it will fall into the absence of an autonomous vow, because at that time if that exists in that way, then it needs to be established intellectually. Second, Legden 'byed (Bhāviveka) establishes it through the approach of autonomy: external and internal phenomena.

These things, in terms of their essence, are not actually produced from themselves, because they exist. They are also not actually produced from others, because it has already been proven elsewhere. Like a vase. Nor are they produced from both, because the reasons for both have already been shown. Nor are they produced from no cause, because they have commonalities and particularities. Like a sprout. Therefore, the Mulamadhyamakakarika says, "Not from self, nor from other." etc. In order to prove these four vows, there are two ways to prove them: through consequentialism and through autonomous reasoning, hence they are known as "Prasaṅgika" and "Svātantrika". If one distinguishes them by not accepting phenomena established by their own characteristics, etc., that is to defile the faces of the great Madhyamikas of holy India with the dust of one's own conceptual thoughts. Therefore, I will strive to explain it separately. Third, the reason for preventing existence and non-existence from arising is: external and internal things, in terms of their essence, do not have self-nature arising, because what exists at the time of the cause does not arise, and what does not exist at the time of the cause does not arise. For example, like space. In order to prove this thesis, if it is said that what exists at the time of the cause arises, then there are three faults: confusion of cause and effect, infinite regress of cause and effect, and no cause. First, both cause and effect have already been established, so it is impossible to distinguish which is the produced and which is the producer. Second, if what has already been established also needs to be produced, then it will fall into infinity. Third, if what exists at the time of the cause arises, then the cause will not benefit the effect, so the effect will become without cause, because the cause did not produce a benefit. If it is said that what does not exist at the time of the cause arises, then that is also unreasonable. Because there are three faults: it is not suitable as the produced, it is not the field where the power of the cause can enter, and it is too extreme. First, there is no produced at the time of the cause. Second, there is no effect when the power of the cause exists, and there is no power of the cause when the effect exists. Third, a rabbit's horn will also be produced, or the effect will also become non-produced, because both do not exist at the time of the cause. Fourth, the fourfold negation of arising: external and internal things, in terms of their essence, do not have self-nature arising, because many causes
