Because it is impossible to regress from perfect Bodhi. Because if one attains it, it is universally true that one will not engage in inferior Bodhi through both thought and action. If one is a non-regressing Sangha, then it is not universally true that one has obtained the sign of accomplishing it. Because if one attains that path and that path, then if one attains the sign of that path and that path, it would follow that the ability of the mind that meditates on the path has no difference between good and bad. Therefore, the non-regressing Sangha is established only from the attainment of the heat stage of the Mahayana. And the minimum boundary for obtaining that sign is established from the sharp-witted Bodhisattva who abides in the heat stage. Secondly, the unreasonable aspects are refuted by scriptural and logical proofs. The reasonable aspects are shown from the treatises. Examine the signs shown in this way in terms of Dharma, meaning, and three aspects. And there are four points: summarizing the key points and showing them. Firstly, some people, taking any of the three Bodhisattvas here as the subject, then say: It is not to be proven that he is non-regressing, because if one does so, the refutation will become the reason. Because all the arguments shown by the teacher here are the signs of nature that prove that the result can be produced from the sign of the complete collection of causes. As it is said in the Great Commentary: "It should be grasped, by the cause of ability, the fruit is produced, whatever subsequent inference, because it does not depend on other meanings, that is called nature." Because it is said that it is necessary to grasp the inference in a proper way. Therefore, here it is to be proven that he is a non-regressing Sangha. Because it is said in the root text: "The assembly of non-regression here." And in the commentary it is said: "He is a non-regressing Sangha." In this way, the meaning of the combination mentioned in the Great Commentary is: The sharp-witted Bodhisattva who abides in the heat stage is the subject, he is a non-regressing Sangha, because he is the Bodhisattva who has special actions of body and speech after the antidote to the manifest clinging to the truth of form. Through this, the rest are called analogies. You who want to disturb the meaning with the beauty of words, listen, I will eliminate the net of delusion of ignorance on the reality of the mind, the Dharma nature of space. Like this, we think of the mind that abides in the heat stage.

One with sharp wisdom is a Mahayana student, because he is a Bodhisattva with excellent skillful means and wisdom. If one admits that this is the meaning of the great commentary's argument, what is the obstacle? The opponent says: That is not its meaning, because that argument's reason lacks the meaning of a complete collection of causes, and the subject to be proven lacks the meaning of being able to produce a result. Now I understand. If you admit it, then yours is also not that meaning, because that and that lack that itself. Even if you remove the fault, it is the same in all respects. Again, the opponent says: Your argument is not the meaning of the argument spoken from that, because establishing a Mahayana student in this context is not the meaning of the present. If you say so, it is the same for you, because establishing a non-retreating Sangha in this context is not the meaning of the present. Furthermore, according to the teacher's view, if the basis, path, and result are established as truly unborn, then it must be an argument that is free from one or many, because the commentary says: Because it is free from the nature of one and many. If it is not pervasive, if the meaning of the previous great commentary is established, then all the non-retreating arguments shown here, from the sign of the complete collection of causes, establish the nature of the argument that can produce the result, and that pervasiveness will disappear. The opponent says: That is not the same, because your that is not pervasive, because the meaning of the scripture "because it is free from the nature of one and many" is: From the reason of being free from one and many, with the valid cognition that realizes the basis, path, and result as truly unborn, one should know the basis, path, and result as truly unborn. If you say so, then yours is also not pervasive, because the meaning of the great commentary's scripture is: From the cause of being able to produce perfect enlightenment without being interrupted by other vehicles, with the valid cognition that realizes the Mahayana practitioner with sharp wisdom as non-retreating from perfect enlightenment, one should hold that as non-retreating from perfect enlightenment. Furthermore, in this context, if any of the three Bodhisattvas is taken as the subject and it is established that they are a non-retreating Sangha, then it should not be established as non-retreating
