Where the three realms are selfless and without substance, contemplating that the agent has no autonomy, whatever patience is cultivated in accordance with that, those will be liberated from all beings. Although this statement has been quoted, it seems that Your Honor must also consider this scripture to be a scripture that realizes the absence of reality, because this scripture shows the realization of the absence of substance in the three realms, and you have promised that the concept of grasping at substance is grasping at reality. In short, the main object of realization for the Hearers is the selflessness of the individual, and to realize that, it is necessary to prevent grasping at the aggregates as real, because grasping at the aggregates as real is the direct cause of the self-grasping of the individual, and its power is unobstructed. The main object of realization in our own tradition is that the object of grasping, the external object, is not real, and the main object of realization in the Great Vehicle is to be free from all the elaborations of dualistic grasping, so the difference in views is very great. If it is said, 'If, as stated in the Sutra of the Ten Grounds, the Hearers and Solitary Realizers cannot subdue with the power of their minds until the seventh ground is attained, is this contradictory?' The meaning of that should only be seen as appearing as I have described it, that the Bodhisattva who abides on the seventh ground of the Bodhisattva, by abiding in the greatness of knowing his own object, is also far superior to all the activities of the Hearers and Solitary Buddhas. The meaning of that is that his own object is the uncommon object of the Great Vehicle that is not present in the Lesser Vehicle, which is the freedom from elaboration as previously described. Knowing that, knowing in the manner of a general meaning, is also present in the accumulation and application paths of the Great Vehicle. The way in which it is superior to the Hearers and Solitary Realizers has been shown in the context of preventing manifest clinging and so on. Knowing that directly is present in the path of seeing of the Great Vehicle. The way in which it is superior is shown in the context of 'Because whose path is superior to others, it is called the superior path.' The greatness of that is the ability to prevent all sign-grasping, and the way in which it subdues the Hearers and Solitary Realizers is attained in the state of the seventh ground, because it is impossible for sign-grasping to manifest from the eighth ground onwards. That is also his own object, knowing that, the greatness of that, also, and the five words of extremely.

If these are understood, relying on these treatises, there will be no wrong views that there is no difference in view between the Greater and Lesser Vehicles. I personally believe that the essence of the Prajnaparamita Sutra, the Ten Bhumi Sutra, the Abhisamayalankara, and the treatises of the Holy Nagarjuna are consistent, but the wording is slightly different due to the needs. In the Abhisamayalankara, the main focus is on explaining the uncommon path of the Mahayana, so the realization of freedom from elaboration is regarded as the realization of the selflessness of phenomena, and it is said that this is not possessed by the Shravakas and Pratyekabuddhas. The Holy Nagarjuna, on the other hand, believes that the unborn that all three vehicles need to understand is merely the realization of the selflessness of phenomena, and says that all three vehicles possess this. The third result, the union of the two bodies of Madhyamaka, will be explained in detail elsewhere. Third, combining with credible scriptural evidence. These brief self-views, although they need to be combined with reliable treatises one by one, are not elaborated here because there is too much content. Next, the easily confused, divided into two kinds of ultimate truth with and without difference, and the cessation of the four extremes of elaboration, are combined with scriptural evidence. First, Master Yeshe Nyingpo said: The reason for negating birth, etc., is because it is in accordance with the correct reasoning of truly negating the reality of birth, etc., and we also consider it to be the ultimate truth. Others think that it is only truly real, so the word "also" is the meaning of summarizing. But if analyzed with reason, it is only conventional truth, why? Because there is nothing to be negated. In reality, there is no negation, clear. Shantarakshita said: Although no-birth, etc., belong to the true conventional truth, because it is in accordance with the ultimate truth, this is called the ultimate truth. In reality, it is of elaboration, liberated from all aggregates. The ultimate truth is the abandonment of all nets of elaboration such as things and non-things, birth and non-birth, emptiness and non-emptiness, etc. No-birth, etc., because it is in accordance with entering it, it is approximately called the ultimate truth. Chandrakirti said in the commentary on the Sixty Stanzas of Reasoning: Establishing the two truths is for the sake of the world.
