It should be established according to wisdom. Thus it was said. Considering these, Jetsun Drakpa Gyaltsen, Chegom Sherab Dorje, and the scholar Redtawa, among others, also seem to have done the same. Second, the scriptural authority on freedom from elaboration: Many statements from the collections of lineages and praises are not written here. From the "Arya-avatara-dvisatya" (Entering the Two Truths): "Son of the gods, if, in the ultimate sense, the ultimate truth were to become the nature of body, speech, and mind, then it would not be counted as the ultimate truth, but would only become the conventional truth. However, son of the gods, in the ultimate sense, the ultimate truth is beyond all expressions, without distinctions, unborn, unceasing, and separate from what is to be spoken, speaking, what is to be known, and knowing. Son of the gods, the ultimate truth is beyond the realm of the wisdom of the omniscient, possessing all kinds of excellence; it is not as it is said to be the ultimate truth." And from the Sutra Requested by Kashyapa: "Kashyapa, it is easy to abide in the view of the self of a person, even if it is as great as Mount Meru. But it is not so with the view of emptiness with pride. Why is that? Because emptiness is what definitely liberates from all views, but looking only at emptiness is incurable, I have said." And from the Twenty Thousand Verse Prajnaparamita Sutra: "If a bodhisattva dwells with attachment and abides in the perception that form is empty, feeling, perception, formation, and consciousness are empty, then he is attached to the Dharma that accords with a great bodhisattva, and this will become a fault." And from the Hundred Thousand Verse Prajnaparamita Sutra: "Do not establish emptiness, and do not cling to emptiness." So it is. If it is a nihilistic view, then the statement that it does not exist in the conventional is not pervasive. From the Sutra Requested by Asvaghosa Bodhisattva: "Bhagavan, if everything is empty, wouldn't that lead to annihilation?" The Bhagavan said: "Son of good family, the view of annihilation becomes the view of annihilation for three reasons. Denying that actions, causes, and effects, etc., exist even conventionally."

Or clinging to the side of non-existence, or without understanding the meaning of the profound Dharma, clinging to the word "emptiness." Thus it is said. Therefore, the key point is that, according to the Madhyamaka school, all three vehicles must each have a Middle Way that abandons the two extremes. The Lesser Vehicle, because it does not truly exist in the ultimate sense, is liberated from the extreme of permanence. In the relative sense, it does not slander the cause and effect of karma, so it must be liberated from the extreme of annihilation, as explained in the Precious Garland. The Great Vehicle, in addition to this, also has a special view that is free from all dualistic clinging to existence and non-existence, etc., in the nature of reality itself, as well as compassion focused on sentient beings, and the cultivation of the three aspects of the Great Vehicle's bodhicitta in combination. When the ultimate result is obtained, without moving from the state of the Dharmadhatu free from elaboration, the benefit of sentient beings pervading the limits of space will effortlessly and spontaneously arise. With the golden needle of your good words, utterly purify my dim-witted intelligence, bestow upon me the eye to see the meaning of reality, compassionate and great Lama, please continue to protect me. The scholars of the noble land of India, regarding the four philosophical schools, each hold their own proclaimed tenets. In this land of snow, everyone claims to be Madhyamaka, yet they speak of permanence and annihilation in this way. Some say that the ultimate reality to be realized is permanent, stable, and truly existent, but the wisdom that realizes reality cannot perceive it. This statement is not nectar to the ears. Others always slander the great beings of the Svatantrika school and the learned and accomplished masters of Tibet, saying that they have not well understood the key points of Madhyamaka. They cling to the extreme of annihilation, holding that ultimate reality is empty, and denigrate the essence of the teachings, the freedom from the four extremes, which arises from the good tradition of Nagarjuna's treatises, saying that it is the view of the Chinese Heshang. They believe that the ultimate truth analyzed by reason is consistent with their own tenets, that ultimate truth is self-established, and that eliminating all dualistic clinging and manifest attachment is a false idea, therefore they say to abandon this view. They do not establish conventional truth with reason, but merely establish it by the imputation of names, and whether the results of karma are encountered or not, they say that results can arise. When analyzed by reason, they then acknowledge karma and its results. Therefore,
