Because it is the object of conceptual mind, the necessity of establishing it is that in order to realize the nature of ultimate truth, one must first realize this. It is for the sake of understanding this. The harm to reality is: because it is the object of conceptual mind that clings to any extreme such as emptiness or non-emptiness. In short, if one considers the object of conceptual mind that has negated reality by reasoning and clings to the emptiness of negating reality as the nature of ultimate truth, then it is like considering the general meaning of ultimate truth as ultimate truth, just as considering the general meaning of a vase as a vase. This is stated in the Bodhisattvacaryāvatāra: "Yogis' conventional [truth] is faultless, because they see that very nature in dependence on the world." And in the commentary on the Bodhisattvacaryāvatāra it is also stated: "The knowledge of ordinary beings, which is devoid of uncontaminated wisdom, does not harm the uncontaminated, so other worlds do not harm such an object." And in the Two Truths it is stated: "Therefore, this is conventional, but in reality there is no birth." And so on. All these statements seem to have the same meaning. After having negated reality, if one thinks that clinging to the emptiness of negating reality is unrejectable, then that is missing the crucial point of the Madhyamaka system. In the Compendium Sutra it is stated: "Even if one thinks that these aggregates are empty, the bodhisattva does not dwell in signs, and does not believe in the unborn place." And in the Middle Length Mother it is stated: "If one practices in the emptiness of form, one practices in signs. If one practices in the non-emptiness of form, one practices in signs." And so on, because all dualistic grasping is said to be what is to be negated. The meaning of these is stated in the Abhisamayalankara: "The concept of practicing in the emptiness of form and so on is a contrary factor." And in the stage of the Mahayana path of joining, it is said that by preventing the practice of clinging to the thirty-two extremes such as permanence and impermanence and meditating, in the stage of the path of seeing, the thirty-two kinds of imputation will be manifestly separated. The noble Nagarjuna said: "The Buddhas have said that emptiness is the escape from all views. Those who hold emptiness as a view are incurable." And also, "One should not say empty, one should not say not empty, neither both nor neither, but for the sake of

It should be stated as such. It is said that, in order to abandon all conceptual thoughts, you revealed the nectar of emptiness. If someone clings to it, you will severely rebuke them. It is said that, with compassion holding close, in order to abandon all views, I prostrate to Gautama, who taught the sacred Dharma. It is said that the noble Chandrakirti said that non-dual wisdom is the wisdom that is free from the two extremes of things and non-things, etc. It is said that, therefore, for Suchness, with its object being things and non-things, etc., until its own nature is not perceived. It is said that, in the Two Truths, it is said that in reality there is no duality, therefore it is not empty, not non-empty, not existent nor non-existent, not born nor unborn, etc., the Bhagavan said as such. It is said that all reliable Madhyamaka treatises agree that all dualistic grasps, such as emptiness and non-emptiness, should be refuted. If someone says that the meaning of those previous quotes is that clinging to emptiness as true is refuted, but it does not show that clinging to emptiness that has refuted truth is refuted. Saying this is destroying the essence of the teachings, which is freedom from elaboration, and it is a statement that deceives those with little wisdom and merit. If that is the case, then the words "all views," etc., and "all conceptual thoughts," etc., and "all views," etc., which are said many times, become meaningless, because clinging to phenomena as true and clinging to its emptiness as true are both included in the first of the four extreme grasps. Therefore, it is said many times in order to cover all four extreme grasps, but if only one extreme grasp on each phenomenon is to be refuted, then it should be understood that saying it many times is meaningless. Merely clinging to the emptiness that is empty of truth, and thinking that one has realized the ultimate Madhyamaka view, and thinking that it is undeniable, is condemned in many ways in the tantras of the secret mantra, and in the context of the great yogi, it is said to become the eleventh root downfall, etc., there are very many, but I will not elaborate on them here. The meaning of existent and non-existent is that it is not existent in ultimate truth, and it is not non-existent in conventional truth, as it is said.
