Since it is its own characteristic, impermanence, suffering, etc., are the general characteristics of the truth of suffering. As explained here, form, etc., are their own characteristics, which are not denied by the Madhyamaka-Prasaṅgikas in conventional truth. Because the Sutra on Dharma Verses speaks of self-characteristics and general characteristics, the Sautrāntikas believe that their meaning lies in whether or not they can function in ultimate truth. Here, it is to explain that in conventional truth, the Dharma itself has unique and common characteristics. In this way, the Sutra says: Dharma, individuals, and among them, the Ālaya-vijñāna, Kliṣṭa-manas, self-awareness, and appearances as mind, etc., as well as the Four Noble Truths, the Two Truths, etc., all four philosophical schools must commonly acknowledge in conventional truth. However, when analyzing with reason, if one does not understand the key that each has a different way of recognizing, and the Realists determine the same thing to be truly existent, then those who say that the Madhyamikas do not acknowledge it even in conventional truth do not understand the scriptures. The last verse explains the nature of emptiness in detail. The commentary on "The nature of the element is like a venomous snake" says that from the perspective of conformity with the Dharma, the elements are of the nature of venomous snakes. According to this statement, the Sanskrit word dhātu for element means to hold, which is the same as the nature of a venomous snake holding living beings. The Ornament of the Sutras says: The lord of compassion, like a great serpent, explains the lineage with laws like breath. This is consistent with the above statement. Furthermore, in the Golden Light Sutra, it says: The six elements of a person's body are like six snakes living in an empty house. In this way, it seems that a different Dharma metaphor from the previous one is also needed. The emptiness of non-apprehension is: now, etc. The emptiness of the nature of non-things is: from conditions, etc. Second, explaining the four categories of summaries, the emptiness of things is: of things, etc. The emptiness of non-things is: in short, etc. The emptiness of self-nature is: self-nature, etc. Although the basis of emptiness here is Dharma, it is to dispel the doubt whether emptiness is made by causes and conditions.

O, emptiness is Buddha, etc. Here, the dharma that is the basis of emptiness is also emptiness, and the reason why others call it "thing" is that, in the commentary, the thing of others is the thusness that has supremely appeared. That supreme appearance itself is what is eternally existent. In another way, the thing of others is the thing to be realized by excellent wisdom, and that is empty by itself. Or, what exists on the other shore is the thing of others. Because it transcends samsara, what is called the thing of others is the true limit, the thusness that is without change, for the emptiness that has the characteristic of emptiness, it is said to be the emptiness of the thing of others. Fourth, stating the source of the quote and showing the concluding summary is wisdom, etc. Fourth, there are three ways to summarize and show the merits obtained in this way: the merit of realizing the ultimate truth, the merit of realizing the conventional truth, and the merit of union. The first is, thus, etc. The second is, always, etc. The third is, conventional, etc. The sixth bodhicitta has been explained. The seventh bodhicitta has two: the merit of entering into samadhi, and the merit of the superior paramita. The first is, long, etc. As it is said in the Sutra of Ten Bhumis: 'O sons of the Victorious Ones, bodhisattvas from the sixth bhumi onwards, bodhisattvas enter into cessation. Bodhisattvas abiding on this seventh bhumi enter into and arise from cessation in every moment of mind, and it is not appropriate to call it the manifestation of cessation.' Thus it is said extensively. The second is, means, etc. In the commentary it says: Wisdom itself enters into a special state, and it should be known as means, aspiration, power, and wisdom. Only in the state of complete discrimination is wisdom called prajnaparamita, and not otherwise. Thus it is said. The meaning of entering into a special state is stated in the Madhyantavibhaga: 'Inexhaustible and entering, definite and enjoyment, making mature.' The teacher Simhabhadra said that the four paramitas are because they are all included within the prajnaparamita.
