When it is related to a chariot, people think that these wheels etc. are parts of the chariot. However, when the chariot is disassembled, people do not think that way, but only think that this is a wheel etc. The latter two verses illustrate this example. This is a characteristic of this scholar that even those who are in lower sects cannot imagine. Second, applying the meaning to things has four points: when examining based on dependence, the receiver etc. are established; when detailed analysis is performed, all complexities are eliminated; the object of self-grasping exists due to the power of ignorance; in this way, it is also shown that "mine" is also excluded. The first point is: just like etc. Taking the chariot and its parts as examples, for me and the aggregates etc., the terms of receiver and what is received etc. are established in the face of an unanalyzed mind. The second point is: truly existent etc. When detailed analysis is performed, all terms of negation and affirmation are eliminated. The third point is: for etc. For the object of clinging to self, that self of the object, due to the power of ignorance that does not understand reality, is established in the face of an unanalyzed mind, therefore the mind that clings to it is ignorance. The fourth point is: because etc. Third, showing the result of analyzing in that way: therefore etc. Third, applying the way of reasoning to all things has three points: applying to all things named in dependence on it; applying to all active and passive things; applying to all cause and effect things. The first point is: pot etc. Combining the following two verses "those through analyzing the chariot" etc. Just as the imputation of me and the aggregates is the same as the analysis of the chariot, so are other things, in order to make an analogy. Not only that, but it should also be understood through which terms this person expresses himself, in order not to harm worldly reputation. The second point is: parts etc. For all things such as parts and wholes etc., it is also the same as the analysis of the chariot. The third point has three points: the previous reasoning makes cause and effect without inherent existence; when analyzing meeting and not meeting, there is no inherent existence; for it, there are faults such as being the same to itself.

Refuting Others' Positions. First: If, etc.: Cause and effect are also like parts and wholes, established in mutual dependence. Therefore, they cannot be found when analyzed in detail, but they are established through worldly fame when not analyzed. Second: If, etc.: The first verse shows that when analyzing whether cause and effect are in contact or not, they cannot be found. Moreover, there is no proof that cause and effect are established by their own nature apart from these two. Therefore, cause and effect are not established by their own nature. The later verse says that without such analysis, cause and effect are mutually dependent and acknowledged in the world through fame. Third, there are two: establishing the argument and explaining the refutation. The first is refutation, etc.: Whether the cause produces the effect by contact or without contact, this reasoning of you Madhyamikas is the same for both the refuted and the refuter. Therefore, the refuted cannot be refuted. Furthermore, you Madhyamikas are not accepted by noble beings, as mentioned above, because you have stated a similar consequence for your own words. Moreover, the statement that producing without contact is not established is also a slander against all things. For example, just as a magnet attracts iron located in a suitable place without contact, similarly, the eye grasps form located in a suitable place without contact. Furthermore, it will also become a follower of the refuter, because it abandons its own position and only engages in refuting others' positions. If you say so, the second has two: eliminating the dispute because there is no acceptance, and eliminating the dispute with the remaining refutation. The first has four: because there is no true side, the faults of the dispute are not the same; examples of actions being reasonable when not analyzed; showing that the faults of analysis are only the faults of others; and there is no need for a reason to establish self-nature. The first is: Refutation, etc.: Because the position that the refuted and the refuter are established by their own nature is not accepted, it will not become a similar consequence for one's own words. The second has two: examples of reasonable actions of refutation, and examples of reasonable actions of establishment. The first is: As, etc.: After abandoning the analysis of contact and non-contact,
