And, monks, these five aggregates are merely names, merely terms, merely designations. Which five? Namely, the past that has passed, the future that has not yet come, space, nirvana, and the individual. Some think that these many and the essence are one, which is not reasonable. Therefore, they consider the self and the aggregates as absolutely one that is completely different. However, from the beginning, others have not promised it that way. Being the same essence and merely different is false, without fault. However, for those who acknowledge both the self and the aggregates as truly existent, if the essence is the same, then it should be inferred as an inseparable essence of oneness. After that, they wrote that the many selves and the five aggregates would absurdly become one. If the basis is established, then it must be either the same essence or different. Since you are worried that this would contradict your own promise that the two truths are the same essence, you seem to acknowledge that the self and the aggregates are the same essence. However, this hinders the fundamental tenet of the Nagarjuna father and son's school, which does not acknowledge that mutually dependent phenomena are the same or different in essence. This should be understood in many contexts above and below. Although no one other than the department revered by many of its own schools acknowledges that the self and the aggregates are the same essence, why do you, who claim to be a Madhyamika, acknowledge this? Even if you acknowledge true existence, if the essence is the same, you cannot infer an absolutely indivisible one. Just as the Sautrantikas acknowledge that what is made and impermanent are both truly existent and the same essence, but cannot infer an absolutely indivisible one. Therefore, these treatises refute the sameness of the self and the aggregates, do not distort the explanation. Second, namely "that" etc. What was analyzed before is "depending on Maitreya near-hidden dharma" etc. in this treatise. Also, in the Root Wisdom it says, "If the god is that person, then it will become permanent. If the god is another person, then the continuum will not be established." This is also the case. Second, namely "world" etc. The word "etc." indicates the objects of the fourteen unrevealed views, that is, the fourteen views such as the world having an end will be established. If the word "world" is used to hold the aggregates, then since the aggregates are born and destroyed, it can also be said that the world is impermanent.

will be prophesied, and after Nirvana, since the aggregates do not exist, it will also become having the limit of the world, because it is impossible to hope for this, because there is no non-existence. All schools are the same in presenting the fourteen unprophesied views. The third point is divided into two parts: if one realizes no-self, the aggregates will be cut off; if one realizes no-self, attachment etc. will arise. The first part is: your etc. The second part is: your etc., this teacher believes that for someone who realizes the non-self of the person, it is necessary to realize that the aggregates of the near-taking, which are the cause of the imputation of the person, are without self-nature, which is the main reason. Second, the aggregates and the self being one is not the meaning of the scripture, which is divided into three points: considering the aggregates as the self is not the meaning of the scripture; if it is the meaning of the scripture, then both scripture and reason will contradict; relying on the scripture to summarize the previous conclusion. The first point is: because of what etc. Monks, any ascetic or Brahmin, if they correctly think that there is a self, then they only correctly observe these five aggregates of near-taking. The meaning of this scripture is to negate the other-self other than the aggregates, not to say that the aggregates themselves are the self, which can be proved by other sutras. The second point is divided into two parts: scripture contradicts, reason contradicts. The first point is: aggregates etc., if it is said that the aggregates are the self, then the collection of aggregates must be the self, just like trees are a forest. The collection of aggregates is the self, which contradicts the scripture, as the scripture says: oneself is one's own protector, oneself is also one's own enemy, for the good and evil done, oneself is one's own witness. Here it says protector and witness, if it is said that oneself becomes good through taming, the wise will attain the good realms, here it says taming, but merely the collection is non-existent in essence, therefore these do not exist. The second point is divided into three parts: if it is merely a collection, then it will be harmed by the example of the cart; if it is the shape of the collection, then it will be harmed by not existing in the mind; both will lead to the agent and the object becoming one and contradicting each other. The first point is: then etc., the commentary says that what is relied upon and what is imputed is not merely the collection of the near-taking limbs that are examined, but what is relied upon and what is imputed
