Therefore, it is not permissible as the form of the source of Dharma in either wakefulness or dreams. If it is thought that it is permissible in the mind of wakefulness, then the eye consciousness of the dream will become the consciousness of the mind in the mind of wakefulness, because the reason is the same. If you think so, it is directly contradictory to the promise that the object, power, and consciousness of the five senses, such as eye consciousness, do not exist in dreams. Third, it starts with "this" etc. In the commentary, it says: If the other party says that the consciousness of wakefulness is empty of meaning, because it is consciousness, just like the consciousness of a dream. The object of focus in the state of wakefulness is a false nature, because it is an object, just like the object of a dream. Similarly, defilements and purifications do not exist without other causes, because there is no basis, just like a garment of tortoise hair. Similarly, the example of cataracts should also be used. In this way, whatever answers are given by those who speak of consciousness, the wise Madhyamikas see them as the same as their own tenets, so this debate is to refute the consciousness-only school. It is said. Fourth, it starts with "Buddha" etc. In the Lankavatara Sutra, it says: The three realms are only imputed, and there are no real things in nature. The nature of imputed things is imagined by speculators. There is no self-nature and no consciousness-only, no alaya and no real things. Bad children speculators, like corpses, contemplate these. It is said. The third example of delusion arising from meditation cannot be established, starting with "Yoga" etc. If the mind itself is attention, then like the direct perception of grasping blue, it is to show the fault of the next verse, but not to show the fault of self-establishment, which is irrelevant to the text. In the old commentary of this treatise, it is said: Here it is said that if there is no object, there is no consciousness, then how can it be explained that yogis see the earth filled with bones from the oral instructions of the guru? The explanation is that the connection with the next section is also the same, because there are words such as "similarly". Fourth, the appearance of error

It is not established by the example of illusion, such as cataracts. Regarding this, there are three points: explaining the self-system in an easy-to-understand and meaningful way, refuting the system of examining with extreme conceptualization, and revealing the essential meaning needed at all times and places. The first point is further divided into two: raising doubts, and the way of transformation as its answer. The first point is: As quoted earlier, the Mind-Only school believes that there is knowledge without external objects, and the famous analogy in the scriptures is that when a hungry ghost has the thought of seeing pus and blood in a flowing river, although the object of pus and blood does not exist, there is the thought of the subject. As stated in the *Compendium on the Great Vehicle*: How hungry ghosts, animals, humans, and gods each differ, the minds of one thing are different, therefore it is considered that such meaning is not established. It is also said that its commentary was written by the monk Sujata, the object of the water flow, due to the ripening power of each person's karma, hungry ghosts see it filled with pus, etc., and the same, animals such as fish abide with the thought of a dwelling place, and people think of it as clear, cool, and refreshing water and bathe, drink, and enter it. The gods who have entered the sphere of infinite space see the sky, because the perception of form has been destroyed. This is how it is explained. The meaning of these is that the Mind-Only school does not believe that common objects appear differently due to karma, the meaning of "one object" in the root is also, grasping the basis of how people see water, others also appear differently due to the power of habits, because this school does not have a common root consciousness object. Therefore, on the same basis, habits awaken together, appearing as similar objects, and habits awaken differently, appearing as different objects. The first case is like when many people say they see the same lamp, it is not that the lamp seen by one person is also seen by others, it is just that the habits awaken together. The latter case is what was said before. There are no different objects such as pus and blood and water, only the appearance of the awakening of different habits. This is what they believe. The second point should also be known in the commentary. Cataracts
