It appears as true in the face of the co-emergent ignorance of clinging, while the latter appears as artificial in nature to the Hearers, Solitary Realizers, Arhats, and Bodhisattva Aryas who have abandoned the ignorance of afflictions. This is because there is no presumption of appearing as true. That is, the same basis is distinguished separately from the perspective of appearance, but it is not that they exist separately from the perspective of the object. If so, it seems contradictory that the former establishes the subject as conventional, and the latter establishes the object as conventional. The Sanskrit word for conventional is saṃvṛtti, which translates as "that which obscures reality," and the ignorance of clinging to truth in the subject obscures the seeing of the true object, so it is that which obscures reality, because it clings to the appearance of truth in something that is not true. The object aspect of the formations that appear to the subsequent attainment of the three noble ones is also that which obscures reality, because it arises from the power of the imprints of dualistic appearance and obscures the samadhi of non-appearance. Therefore, in the two truths, it says, "That by which what is obscured, is considered conventional." This is also a statement that applies to both object and subject. Here too, it is the same: when it is related to the word "truth," it refers to the subject, and when it is not related to it, the term "that which obscures reality" applies to the object, which is the key point. Some people think that the lowest limit for a Bodhisattva to abandon the ignorance of afflictions is from the eighth bhumi onwards, which is a slander of the Mahayana path, because the Hearers can abandon clinging to truth by meditating on selflessness in the three times, while the Mahayana claims that they cannot abandon it even after meditating for countless eons, etc. Moreover, for the Mahayana, it is claimed that the remaining objects to be abandoned are not abandoned until the eighth bhumi is attained. From the perspective of the subject, the Mahayana reasoning is extensive, so it is acknowledged that it has greater power to abandon what is to be abandoned, so it seems to be a mere collection of contradictions. In one Tibetan explanation of the Entering the Middle Way, the view of Drung Lodro seems to be one of the biggest and most numerous mistakes. The commentary says, "The conventional truth is not the ultimate truth because it is deceptive." This is said by Sakya Pandita.

Therefore, it has been established that what you said about the difference between the relative and ultimate truths is in accordance with reality. Secondly, like cataracts, etc. In the commentary, a quote is taken from the Sutra on Entering the Two Truths of the Noble Ones: "Son of the gods, if the ultimate truth were to become the nature of body, speech, and mind, then it would not be counted as the ultimate truth, but would become the conventional truth. However, son of the gods, if the ultimate truth is beyond all expressions, without distinctions, unborn, unceasing, and separate from what can be said, saying, what can be known, and knowing. Son of the gods, the ultimate truth is beyond the realm of the wisdom of the all-knowing, which possesses all the supreme aspects. How could it be as it is said to be the ultimate truth? All dharmas are false, they are deceptive dharmas. Son of the gods, the ultimate truth cannot be shown. Why? Because the one who shows, what is shown, and the object to whom it is shown, all these dharmas are completely unborn in the ultimate truth. For dharmas that are completely unborn, one cannot explain dharmas that are completely unborn." It is said. This sutra explains that the ultimate truth is to be experienced by the wisdom of the self-awareness of the noble ones, in a way that dualistic appearances disappear. If one has dualistic appearances, then even the realm of omniscience is not the ultimate truth. Moreover, the nature of the ultimate truth itself cannot be shown as it is to those who are to be tamed. If it is shown to those who are to be tamed through expressions, then all objects of words and concepts are called nominal ultimate truth, which is actually conventional truth. In this way, the realization of the ultimate truth and the indication of the ultimate truth are distinguished, the former being the intrinsic characteristic and the latter being the imputation. The teacher said in the commentary on the Sixty Stanzas on Reasoning, "The division into two truths is in relation to the minds of worldly people," which also refers to the two truths indicated by words. This treatise also refutes that the two truths are of the same nature, because a comb without hair and a comb with hair cannot be of the same nature. Secondly, therefore, at that time the world will not harm, if etc., the world's seeing and hearing.
