Because these two things have the same essence. Furthermore, in order to establish the emptiness of each's own essence, it is necessary to add the difference of the ultimate object to be refuted, because the two truths are not empty of their own essence in name. The non-establishment of the reason for both the former and the latter has been admitted. Therefore, just as the two truths are regarded as impermanent, if it is thought that the essence is one, and it is thought that all phenomena are established by the imputation of names, and that apart from the imputation of names, there is no meaning of the imputation of names in name either, then whether it is contradictory or not, please let those who are impartial discern. The meaning of the scripture of "Commentary on the Mind of Enlightenment" is: the two truths must be established in relation to each other, so impermanence is used as an example of the absence of difference in essence, but it is not an example of the essence being one. Because the Madhyamaka-Prasangika does not admit that phenomena established in relation to each other have an essence that is one or different. Otherwise, why not admit that cause and effect have an essence that is one or different? Please think carefully. The second part is divided into two points: explaining from the perspective of distinguishing conventional truth, and explaining the ultimate truth from the perspective of metaphor. The first part is divided into two points: the distinction based on the mind of ordinary beings, and the distinction based on the two, noble and ordinary beings. The first part is divided into four points: dividing the object-possessor's seeing into two, true and false, and through this method, the object is also established as two, correct and incorrect. The second point explains that it does not even exist in the world. Using this as a metaphor, it is applied to the answer in the debate. The first point is: seeing, etc., even in false seeing, there are two kinds of knowledge: one is clear sense consciousness that has not been contaminated by sudden causes of confusion, and the other is defective sense consciousness that has been contaminated by sudden causes of confusion. The former is the correct view in relation to the world, and the latter is the false view in relation to the world. As it is said in the commentary: Therefore, after distinguishing the two truths in this way, even in false seeing, there are two kinds of seeing, correct and false. The second point is: harm, etc., the previous two object-possessors divide the object into two, correct and incorrect. Here, the latter 21 words, the terms correct conventional and incorrect conventional, are the views of the Svatantrika. The Prasangika, however, considers it to be the conventional truth that is true in relation to the world,

Now, someone might say, admitting that it is inverted conventional, but not admitting the former, because if it is correct, it contradicts being conventional. Then, the term 'conventional truth' would also be unreasonable, because if it is conventional, it contradicts being true. If it is thought that there is no fault in establishing it as true in the nature of conventional mind, then the so-called correct conventional is also established as correct relative to the conventional mind, so there is no fault. As the quote from the commentary quoted earlier says, even in false appearances, there are two divisions: correct appearances and false appearances. Therefore, Lord Atisha and his followers, as well as Zhangtang Sakyapa and his followers, etc., those great masters of the past who were very proficient in the texts of the Prasangika school, just as they established the terms 'right' and 'wrong' without distinction between Svatantrika and Prasangika, we should also acknowledge them without distinction. Third, is ignorance, etc. The first two lines express the knowledge disturbed by the sudden causes of mental confusion, and the third line expresses the objects disturbed by the sudden causes of sensory consciousness confusion, which not only do not exist in the ultimate sense, but also do not exist in worldly terms even in the conventional sense. Here, the key point is that all objects that are established as false appearances relative to the samadhi of the noble ones are true on the level of conventional mind, so there is no difference from conventional truth. However, there is a difference in whether or not it is true in name, because inverted conventional truths are not nominal truths, because for all people, whether or not they have entered a school of thought, the term 'true' is not used on the level of innate self-satisfied mind. If you say, then is it the same as not being a conventional truth? That is not understanding the point, because it is true on the level of false appearance, so in false appearance it is divided into two, both of which are false appearance without difference, and it is also true on the level of the latter, and both are true relative to the mind. Because it is shown by what the scriptures say. In short, all inverted conventionalities are conventional truths, but without relying on names, one cannot realize the ultimate meaning. And 'conventional truth becomes the means' and 'worldly conventional truth,' etc.
